You should always remove the glue that holds the cardboard boxes or tissue boxes together else they will chew the boxes and may possibly ingest the glue.
+shaun mabey You have asked that question of the wrong person. Her degu's will soon get bumble foot because they're walking on a wire floor which causes bumble foot. You can easily prevent bumble foot by giving them a solid or well covered floor. And never get them a wire wheel or leave any uncovered wire surfaces in their cage. This is pretty much it. When it comes to their myco bacteria on their lungs & preventing respiratory problems, if you're going to use the bedding brands She just named, never use scented clean & the only safe carefresh to use is the brown one (carefresh naturals) it's the least dusty & for wood based bedding she is actuall yright about using the aspen bedding, pine is always a big risk even if it's kiln dried as some animals can have a specific allergic reaction to pine which is a poison & I don't trust it even if it's been kiln dried & remember they have diabetes. Do not give them fruit. and remember tomatoes are a fruit too & that carrots are high in sugar. They do need their herb mix as well as well as complete food & leafy greens but not iceberg lettuce
What u did wrong: Water bottles are not healthy for them, u should use just bowls for water! The levels aren't good! It has holes in it , they can get stuck and hurt themself and even die!!! Pine cones are not good for them!!! No other things to climb on other than latters, that are also dangerous!!! Printed cardboard should not be given to them! U can't have litter on the levels course it has holes! Blankets should not be used. The food doenst look good! Inform yourself for healthy degu food!!!!! The cage size also is too small!
ebruh I use guinea pig pallets is that okay? Also must I put all their food in a bowl, meaning can I just "sprinkle" them into the cage and let them find it, sorta like what they do in the wild
I can tell my degus apart by small differences in their coloring, size and personality most of all. Out of my 6 boys 3 are super similar so I do have a hard time telling them apart :)

Glue will poison them if it is consumed, they will die 1-2 days after.
this helped a lot im getting 2 degus tomorrow! .I think your degus are really cute :) thanks
Am am doing both scatter feeding and a bowl because it is good for them to forage around
What kind of pellets are thoes? Is there any wood that you shouldn't get for them to chew on?

@@briangohzhen A good quality guinea pig food brand works fine, but don't use any other animal foods apart from guinea pig and of course degu
I slightly disagree on the water bottles, I think they should have the option of both
chinchilla food is best suited as a degu is closer in relation to a chinchilla species wise.
my dad made them a wooden house for they're burrow
Cool
OH, and i need a bit of help in figuring out which is which
