I couldn't figure out what the deal was after replacing the bulb and it still didn't work and your solution worked like a charm! Thanks for making this!

Im glad you didn’t edit the part where you dropped it, it makes it authentic because it’s realistic. Most videos make everything look too easy with all the edits

This was the problem with a 2001 grand cherokee i just worked on. The tab was so low and glued down basically from melted plastic. Little prying with a flathead and now we are good to go! Thanks!

Thanks for your help ! I am new to being a jeep owner. Most of my auto mechanic experience is 80's , 70's, 60's and back... so i'm learning a lot as i go with gen. Maint. And basic repairs.

Thanks for the video and tip on the tab connection. My neighbor told me my 2004 Grand Cherokee 4x4's right rear brake light was out. I pulled the assembly removed the socket and checked the the bulb which appeared to be fine. Using your tip I carefully pried up the ground tab with a thin blade screwdriver. I reinstalled the socket, propped up the taillight assembly against the body, viewed it from the passenger side mirror, pressed the brake pedal and the brake light worked. 10 minutes tops and it was fixed with no out of pocket expense. 👍
