They say pictures (or in this case footage) never does scenery justice. I’m so happy I was able to see these lakes when we were scouting and I can honestly say you captured the beauty perfectly! You have a unique skill that brings the viewer right there along with you! Keep up the amazing work!
Hi Ben, nice to meet you. We’re both friends with Tosh, who I got your name from. I enjoyed this video. I love the drone scenes. They’re incredible views. Water here was gorgeous. I love the North American wilderness. Looking forward to your next camping trips. Happy holidays to you. Greg / CT USA
My god those lakes and location are breathtaking! And the campsites were perfect. AND how awesome it must feel to find such a jem, camp for a few days and be able to hit a cabin to restock/charge stuff and then do it all over again! Great video man, thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Yeah this was the last week of May, in my next video (part two of this trip) I got footage of a huge smoke cloud coming over me, which was essentially the beginning of all the wildfire madness across the province
What a little piece of paradise you found. Awesome footage and it always makes me smile when you dudes catch a fish…you definitely feel the excitement!! Thanks for taking us along.
Pretty cool to see Northern Ontario, great drone shots too! I've only fished southern Ontario and the fishing pressure out there is nuts. What I found worked the best for lake trout is baitfish, we would catch some cisco and just sink them to the bottom and catch monster lake trout. For smaller ones I found spinners worked great for them. I got spoiled fishing in my younger years because I was fishing up in Yellowknife. Now I'm in Alberta and just started fly fishing and fly tying. Heading out tomorrow for some mountain river fly fishing for about a week. It's going to be a blast!
Omg yeah Yellowknife would be the dream. I’m quite an experienced fisherman but very new to trout, mainly fished for bass and walleye my whole life so I really appreciate any advice. I hope you’re having a great trip and thanks for watching the video!
What a beauty of a spot you've found yourselves up there! Awesome video man, keep it up. If you can find yourself some EGB spoons, you won't be able to keep those trout off the hook 🤫 Cheers Ben
wow - that is so awesome. I thought we had some beautiful spots here in New Zealand - man what a spot to fish. Sadly, we do not have too many brook trout or splake for that matter here in NZ - one day I need to get over to your neck of the world as I am a small lake angler through and through. NZ is more well known for its sight fishing for large brown trout in rivers but we have some small lakes here that I am sure you would like as well (minus the bears of course, do kiwis count?)
New Zealand would be a DREAM fishing trip for me, don’t get me wrong Canada is incredibly beautiful but I feel like NZ is a whole different level of beauty. I’ve never been to that part of the world but will make it happen some day. Thanks for watching!
It’s a MEC OHM 2, it’s a palace for solo camping, it’s big enough to be comfortable sharing with my girlfriend but not so comfortable sharing with my brother hahahaha
What an amazing job documenting an epic trip! Great job Ben 💪. Love paddling crystal clear waters!!!
Great video....again. Love your content. That water is to die for!! Maybe in the next video you will catch and cook some fish. yummy.
Thank you so much! Not sure if you can tell the future or just a lucky guess but there are certainly a couple catch&cooks in the next one :)
Holy drone work - 10/10 dude
Thanks Keith you’re a legend!

What an amazing place to have a cabin. Wow. The water was like Lake Louise
Excellent photography and video !

Living the life dude
Ben, King of Buds!
Hahahaha I’ll take it!
Doesn't get better than that! I can't even book a public campsite in southern Wisconsin, everything runs though Government...
Amazing videography! really love watching your videos.. That lake with the eagle was beautiful. Cant wait to see more..of your adventures.
Thank you so much, I think that eagle was very much a sign telling me it was going to be a good trip
sweet, glad I found this channel
ps amazing brookie
Thanks a lot! I’ve since learned it was actually a splake rather than a brookie, too bad cause if it was a brook it would’ve been MASSIVE
@@benbeauchamp16
Oh I think you're right by looking at the tail it does look like a splake. Brookie tail more square
5:00
Some nice photography and great fish. Some how you avoided the fire ban we all got caught by in early June. 🤔🎣

Thanks for watching :)
loved it, bro! I wanna do that too :)
Thank you!! If you have the means of doing something like this I say go for it!
What a beauty of a spot you've found yourselves up there! Awesome video man, keep it up. If you can find yourself some EGB spoons, you won't be able to keep those trout off the hook 🤫

EGB spoons… got it! I’m sure you could tell but I’m quite new to the world of trout so I appreciate any piece of advice I can get, thank you, cheers!
Shhhhh

Ah yes, kiwis… feared beasts! lol
I would love to know what that tent is. I'm in the market.
It’s a MEC OHM 2, it’s a palace for solo camping, it’s big enough to be comfortable sharing with my girlfriend but not so comfortable sharing with my brother hahahaha
7:33 cheese and crackers pretty simple dinner
and salami lol, pure laziness but it did the trick!
Also the two steaks for breakfast the next morning made up for it hahahaah
Killer!!!
no cameo Trevor?
I played a very key role at the 2:58 mark. Did you miss me? 😁
I was also the one getting the ATV stuck at the 1:22 mark. The fact my cursing is non-existent is a testament to Ben’s stellar sound editing skills! 😜
I’ll leave my life behind and be your camera man bud gotta have someone hold the camera and the rifle
Hahaha I’m making do just fine right now but maybe a couple more bear encounters and I’ll give you a call lmao
