- Things you need to know before purchasing raw hair (Burmese, Indian, Vietnamese, Cambodian, etc.) from any vendor including me. Please keep in mind, that raw hair comes from countries not as wealthy as America. Each bundle comes from a different donor so it is literally impossible for each bundle to be exactly the same. If that is your expectation, you are probably looking for processed hair from China.
Also we will discuss why black people hold black owned business to a much higher standard than any one else. Popeyes literally messes up your order every single time but you still go, but when is a BLACK OWNED BUSINESS, before you even tell me what wrong, you call me out of my name, disrespect me, spread lies? To be clear, I don't want anyone to buy my product simple because I'm black. I just don't understand the added scrutiny placed on my business, simply because of my skin color.

I sold hair for 5 years the money was great however the lack of knowledge from customers was unbelievable which resulted in bad reviews my good reviews out numbered the bad reviews but i know we seem to focus on the bad ones. My advice is, don't let it consume you; it's just people; some are just complainers. If your natural hair was dry, what would you do? Deep conditioning treatment, perhaps 🤔.
So, do the same thing for your weave hair. Dry hair is when your scalp doesn't make enough oil to moisturize your hair, or your hair lets the moisture escape. So, for weaving hair once the hair has been removed from the living hair, donor moisture is no longer given to the hair follicles, so you must provide moisture.
As far as shedding goes, it isn't much to do because shedding is natural. Did you know your natural hair sheds 1000 strands of hair per day? Learn how to up keep your curly hair before purchasing. Curly hair is like most African American peoples hair; it gets tangled easily. So stop trying to run your fingers through your curly weave hair mid day, lol. You won't wear your natural curly hair and want to run your fingers through it.
Y'all already know that's to be done when styling while wet or before bed when combing while wet and doing your two Pocahontas braids apply your scarf or bonnet. Air dry overnight 😴 un- braid in the morning; you are ready to start your day.
I always say wear your weave for about a week, allowing yourself to get used to the hair. Remember, it's new to you, so within a 7 day time frame, you will learn what works for you. Include your wash day to remove product build-up. Remember to apply a good conditioner moisturizing the hair for at least 30 minutes, then rinse.

Yes it can definitely be difficult at times but I try not to let a few bad apples ruin the bunch. I'm blessed to be doing well during these times that are difficult for so many people. I’ve never ordered this type of hair because I’m not a fan of curly hair, but I’m considering buying a 36” or 32” wig and I visited here to see the pattern, thickness, and lengths. I have been scammed on lengths before which is very annoying and upsetting and if you’re willing to exchange or make it right it means a lot opposed to others that only want to say “ sorry Dear how about a ten dollar refund “ haha. I purchase ALL my stuff through PayPal because that’s the only way to get your money back!
I understand and I agree. I hate being scammed too. Too many people try to scam hair businesses with charge backs and PayPal scams. I do exchanges and refunds for all my customers ever when it's against my policy and people still try to scam me.

Do you think RAW hair can handle intense or high heat (flat ironing and curling at >450F.It is really imperative to purchase high end styling tools to provide longevity ? I’ve started using certain products and noticed a difference.
Raw Hair is just like natural hair so the more often you use high heat and manipulation the more damaged it will get

Yes you can straighten Burmese hair but the more heat you apply the less defined the curls will be.

Recently a large amount of money on a hair business in IG and at first her raw hair was nice
But the hair became very dry in less then a month, Now I did explain that to her and she sent me a picture of a hair brush now the photos of the hair look nonething like what was sent which I did advised her, I didn’t call her a scam but feel like I been ripped off with the second purchase because she didn’t offer a exchange or anything. So I stayed quiet and didn’t reach no more and nor will I buy again

Yes, unfortunately there can be multiple reasons why the hair can become that way. Remember that most human hair comes from impoverished countries and hair nutrition has to do with the nutrition of the donor.
Also the hair has to be taken care of as carefully as our own hair on our scalp in order for it to remain healthy. It needs to be washed, conditioned, and moisturized routinely. Things like color and chemicals decrease the life of the hair. Wrapped it up at night will help protect the hair.
Even after all that, though there is definitely poor quality hair, but most times it's all perception. 100 people may be satisfied before 1 is dissatisfied.
The only thing I can recommend is trying to get a sample or only getting 1 Bundle to test the hair. All I know is everyone gets better results if we all respect each other.

Coloring any hair can dry it out a little bit but I’ve had a few people keep it for a year.

Can you do a video possibly on new business owners dealing with ppl buying hair and disputing the charges even though they received the hair. I have seen so many videos of ppl going through they end up losing so much money from ppl just ordering hair and then pretending they didn't so they get the money back. Ik you can't stop that from happening but what can business owners do to win the dispute to save the business? Not sure if you even had to deal with that but again I'm just starting and seen soooo many ppl say this was happening so I'm extremely worried 😩

I think i mentioned that in my last video. As far as my list of videos, I am really behind on recording in general. being honest that video may be done later this year at best. A tip though. I use shopify and pay for four different apps to either detect fraud or automatically challenge my chargebacks. It used to hurt much more when my orders were low but now, with some penny pinching, i can save until the disputes are settled. even with help i still lose more than half BUT they happen far less often because i detect fraud early. I required IDs, signature for deliveries, and have clear terms and conditions all over my website, with clear return policies.

So I have a Burmese curly hair from another company. I struggle with keeping it moisturized I feel like as soon as I leave the house the ends are super dry. What can I do??? 😢
Did it come that way? How long have you had it? Did you try to get the company to exchange it?
@QBWigCollections of course out the package it was super soft I've had for about a week. It's not bad just the ends feels rough. I braid it every night and every couple of days I spray it with water mixed with conditioner. Last year I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH HAIR SO FAB more like Hair So NOT
I understand. It is human hair so the quality is dependent on how well the donor took care of it. Every once in a while I get bad bundles and I usually keep them for myself. I just try to keep them washed and moisturized with my Design Essentials products.
Try argan oil... ive had some really dry hair throughout the years. Also i wash and deep moisturizing condition once a week. I like conditioner with slip.. meaning is slippery on your hands. I use alot of conditioner lol

I was back n forth sending pics they said I mismanaged the hair I sent pics from day one the hair was horrible. This second company is ok I get at least two days before it get really dry. But I have to braid it every night

I feel everyone is entitled to their opinions free to share however they feel on their own platform. On my channel I chose to be as respectful as possible to everyone but still teach new business owners how to expect and deal with all the lows, in order to reach new highs.
One thing I will say about black businesses and consumers. Black people are the number one consumers of media in America. 48million black consumers spend over 1 trillion per year in this country. 48% of black people are comfortable shopping online. That's far more than any race. Instead of fighting we should be trying to keep those dollars in our community. Still 8 out of 10 black businesses fail in the first 18 months. That's what needs to change!

People need to understand that Raw Hair is Literally Collected Directly From the Donors Hair and Then Directly Sewn Onto Weft Than Sold As. Nothing Else Is Done To It to change its State Or Texture.

Burmese curl is actually processed Cambodian hair ..
it's still raw which means it have been through any chemical process..but curls aren't natural.
This may be true for some but my hair doesn't come from Cambodia.
For me, My Indian Hair is Raw and Unprocessed. Since I also provide Burmese Curly Hair, prefer to let supporters know upfront that the hair has been processed. Most people still call it Raw Burmese hair and I understand...
