When product turns white, it’s a sign it not mixing with the other products. You could had residual conditioner in your hair that didn’t mix well with that gel.

Ivy or anyone else in the comments, do you prefer this texture over deep curly? I've had my deep curly from Yummy for like 4 or 5 years. I've colored and cut it so much that now I want a longer unit. Yummy is having their Valentine's day sale right now but unfortunately, they are sold out on deep curly so I'm looking for something close. I noted you said you're wearing 22" and saw from comments below that you cut it closer to 18". From what I see I think this texture is a little looser than deep curly which might make for slightly better hair management. But I do love my deep curly from Yummy. Someone let me know.

I would use perm rods or a small wand curler to blend. The luster is low but still different so I would tuck most of my hair. I'm shocked you didn't make a flip over unit!!
I hate that as far as blending with curly hair to put heat on ours cause what if we wanna get in the pool considering we mainly wear curly hair in the summer months
Sooo I purchase and I love it...I had my stylist do a sew-in with minimum leave out. I purchased Miss Jessie's Honey Curl pomade and love the definition it gives but notice it makes it a tad bit hard. Question...when I do a refresh of the curls...should I do a mix of Aussie conditioner and water??? Trying to create a softer look on the ends and throughout the hair. Thank you!!!
This is raw hair so it depends what you want Brazilian is from many many folks has one pattern so you won’t get pretty curls that’s different like in the video with Brazilian your hair won’t act like your own so if you’re in heat your hair may get frizzy while your weave will not verses raw hair it will

You should try Amtu Hair & Art Tools to help your hair stretch but still keep the same curl pattern just a little looser.
