This is what happens when. The only Jamba juice shuts down from snow
What about using blow torches?
Lies there's no help and the sheriff is blocking roofs and the national guard from delivering food and supplies we are being left to die another storm coming tomorrow good luck getting food, 11 miles away up hill in deep snow ❄️🌨️
Sounds dire. Time to move off the mountain. Mountain living is no joke! Better safe than sorry.
Cuídese Carlos.. en San Bernandino uhubo una explicación de gas .
Where’s the FEMA food!
Ukraine
Why didn't they shovel every hour and prepare for 3 mos food, water & meds? Very embarassing for them
Folks did shovel , non stop, why are you embarassed for them? And you do realize that your medicine is given to you for 30 days. 90 days, and mailed? If your due to get your refill just before the storm but it is to early and no can get the refill, how is that anyones fault? Do you know how many folks have their meds shipped and can not get them because the mail trucks could not get here and that the post office is closed? Until you live up here, do not judge.
@@shenanigans8799 Agree! So much criticism when there should be compassion. I will come support the restaurants and businesses when things warm up. These storms have been insane.
Why live so far from help if you require that sort of medical assistance? Like the OP said, they're ill-prepared.
@@20alphabet This was an unusual storm. 45 inches of snow in 72 hours. It’s not a common occurrence. Why is that so hard to understand and feel compassion for people who are stuck? Jeez!! I hope you critics are always prepared for freak occurrences. And what’s the point of shoveling every hour in a blizzard? Try a little kindness and understanding.
WE DID. IMAGINE SHOVELING WITH A BLIZZARD OUT. IT WAS DANGEROUS. 90 INCHES IN 5 DAYS WE COULDNT KEEP UP. IDIOT
Now would be a good time to have some light brush fire
❗
Praying for all the mountain communities an yes don’t charge these people any rent they need money for food an supplies
why help them? let them perish....give the money and aid instead to ukraine!!!
Ukraine gets more timely help
This is when you pull that snowmachine (snowmobile) out and have zero issues.
No one owns machinery that would only be used once every 30 years
@Hermit Watcher .....why would you wait that long? And why once?
@@907Rome because we get like 3 feet of snow per year, this was 90 inches in 5 days. Dummy
@@GLo1991 Theres places to ride very close to those homes....
@@907Rome yeah and the people have way bigger things to worry about like their roofs caving in or digging their vehicles out. It’s not a cute little snowfall it was life and death for some
There are thousands that cannot leave their houses n cabins!
And.....
Simple question, WHERE is the California National Guard?!
I blame Bush for this travesty
From the video picture's, the help these people need; WASN'T in the need of rescue. All that snow on the opening news piece,,, wasn't from an avalanche. It fell. A little at a time from the sky. A shovel, a little at a time motivation too physically remove it from there doorways at the very least, stores and provisions stocked up,, a ladder and roof coating squeegee too occasionally clear the rooftops and a positive attitude towards spring coming they'd have been fine. Some people are blessed with the Lions share of; the labor's of those who rightfully earned and deserve the rewards. And this is thee other side of I'll gotten rewards. Those homes,,,, cost a lot of money, unfortunately SOME of those who really earned those costs,,, we're honorably deserving but cheated suckers now under tents on the streets. Hope you, "ALL of you",,,, have a good life.
The snow actually fell QUICKLY and in short order. If you aren’t up here don’t talk at all. It was life and death for some
@@GLo1991 I am up here. Been snowed in since mid Oct. So I do KNOW! I have worked and lived in many Pass's and elevations of 15000 ft in New Mexico, Colorado Rockies. Even in Northern California Cascades. At 67 years now I have been up here in the S.E. Oregon's high desert Cascades since 2019. So YOU know what little you speak. And it is always; LIFE or DEATH
@@GLo1991 know your choice of path's by hands on learning. Then prepare.
@@edwinlipton snowed in since mid October…if anyone is incompetent it’s you
Why are there so many armchair quarterbacks wagging fingers?!? You do realize the difference between Southern California mountains/snow and the Rockies, right? We almost NEVER get this kind of snow, which is why we lack the infrastructure, resources, local preparedness, and experience to deal with it. These smaller community locals are on very limited incomes and didn’t have the “better safe than sorry” luxury. Good for you for being a survivalist, but please get over yourself!
When Jed asked Jethro "What happened to all the snow in California?" And Jethro said "Don't look at me, I didn't take it." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mountain residents need to get to their jobs down the hill. Will they be compensated for any loss due to the highway 18 closure? Maybe a class action lawsuit would be in order
It's not the end of the world if they don't get to their damn jobs. LMAO file a law suit. Are you serious? Get a life. Suing everyone is not going to help nor is it the answer
Lighten up. You are over reacting..
Hey courtney good to see yoy beautiful 😍
Heh, heh. Always loved being prepared for and then snowed in for months living off grid while people downslope lost grid power and howled in desperation for help after only two or three days.
It’s been over a week we’ve been trapped. Take your high horse elsewhere
@@GLo1991 I’m simply sharing personal experience to aid those so poorly prepared, like you, who are in dire need of aid. By being well prepared, I avoided interfering with and diverting emergency workers from helping others. Don’t blame me for thinking of the welfare of others by thoughtfully thinking ahead.
@@fluxfaze most of us did think ahead. I haven’t been to the grocery store since Tuesday before the storm hit. We had loads of wood to use when we lost power for 5 days. I dug out my vehicles daily and every morning they’d be covered all over again. The entire mountain community were not expecting 10+ ft of snow. This is Socal not some area that gets tons of snow every year. We maybe get 3 feet a year where I am but literally had a storm that brought more snow than ever before. A neighbors roof collapsed on my street, 2/3 of our grocery stores are shut down due to the amount of snow that fell in short order. Literally no amount of prep could have saved us from being buried day after day for nearly a week. And today? It’s raining buckets making it hard to get out to shovel. My boots have been soaked every single night.
Storm was forecasted for a week prior, no sympathy for you snowflakes not being prepared, its winter and you live in the mountains for christ sake.
@@GLo1991 I have multiple pairs of boots, for obvious reasons. A couple of them 100% rubber with wool linings. Just another personal preparation experience.
