I was probably a 4/10 in enthusiasm for Lorcana based on the art and rules. Now that I know how ridiculous the organized play program and distribution are, my enthus-o-meter is rapidly dropping lower.
You guys are the people these companies need to "consult" with whoever is making the decisions in this regard have seemingly 0 awareness of what they are supposed to do here very weird but I suppose the norm now for everything from government to big money players 8P
I’ve got one gift set, a trove and booster box pre-ordered here in the UK, the booster was tough(ish) to get, although pre-orders sell fast I can’t say there’s the same hype here. From the sounds of it though if these do come through I should prob cash out and walk away fast then maybe revisit the game when it’s dead 😂
Ha - could be a dead game pretty quick! I think it becomes pretty tough to develop a player base when you could probably double your money on all those preorders. When the speculation is that rampant due to scarcity… seems challenging. Would love to get some to open but can’t find it.
I have to decide if I’m going to collect the cards from this game or try to play the game. I don’t really want to do both.
