Two Charming Medieval Towns: Longi and Aci Castello

We take you around Aci Castello in the Province of Catania and Longi in Messina for some unique sites, sounds and flavors. For more Sicilian experiences join our channel group here:

We walk around the center of Aci Castello with the imposing Arab Norman castle, a beautiful marina and plenty of palaces. We then go to Longi the ancestral hometown of a family that was touring with us. Set in the Nebrodi mountain range, it is a very small town with over 1000 residents.

Thank you as always for this great video! I particularly enjoy when you explore these towns. Aci Castello does look like a potential destination for me. I like that it is flatter as I do have some mobility issues. Castelammare del Golfo I think is still my first choice as I have found a potential apartment that is directly in front of the marina.
