We walk around the center of Aci Castello with the imposing Arab Norman castle, a beautiful marina and plenty of palaces. We then go to Longi the ancestral hometown of a family that was touring with us. Set in the Nebrodi mountain range, it is a very small town with over 1000 residents.

The bread baking is always amazing. 💕
Love the tours you take us on. Jean Nate aww brings back so many memories of my Mom as well. I did the same thing every Christmas I would go to the drugstore and buy her the bath & body splash that she loved. 🤗
Another video that’s worth a second or third viewing! Simply outstanding ❤!

Great episode. Longhi is beautiful. Love the quintessential Alfred moments. I remember Jean Nate it had a very specific scent. Ciao 😘

Sicily is incredibly beautiful , and affordable . It’s My favourite part of Italy , although my people are from Tuscany , I would fly straight into Sicily on my text eurotrip.
It's awesome here!

BDW You will find similar writings on buildings by Mussolin,i in Ortigia
Thank you as always for this great video! I particularly enjoy when you explore these towns. Aci Castello does look like a potential destination for me. I like that it is flatter as I do have some mobility issues. Castelammare del Golfo I think is still my first choice as I have found a potential apartment that is directly in front of the marina. What would be your thoughts between the two? Grazie and Buon Anno! Paul in Firenze
Paul we both think you would love Aci Castello! Both are in our top favorites for places to live for many reasons!
My family is from Sciacca. Have you done a video on it?
