You hit the nail on the head Mike. The DA got bent over the ANC’s knee and took such a hiding in these GNU negotiations. For all the praise and respect Helen gets and people saying how tough she is, she and the negotiating team got schooled. And they can’t see it for some reason, which is infuriating.
Based on the number of ministers and ministries the ANC received, you’d think the ANC got 49% of the vote and the DA 8%.

Our country is in a much better position with the GNU in place than it was before the 2024 elections!!
Our currency is stabilising, the petrol price is dropping, interest rates are starting to ease, but most importantly, Investors are starting to take an interest in SA again!!

I watched an ANC video (courtesy of Ronaldo Gouws) where the audience was told that if they voted ANC they would be able to walk into ANY SA hospital, including private hospitals, and get free treatment because the ANC government would pick up the bill.

There should be rules in South Africa, that say if you are guilty of a crime, you cannot be in government. We doe not need criminals in government. Our country is being sold out and our future (our kids) are dyeing. They deserve better!

I did not vote for the DA because I liked them, I voted for them because they are big enough to beat the ANC. The DA better keep fighting the ANC. I don't agree with everything the DA does but they govern better. They better bloody keep fighting the ANC.

Glad to see someone else see it like I do. If you want to defeat the ANC & even more so MKP then best all those who split the vote be like minded and get behind the DA. It will take all the smaller parties many years to build anything big enough to beat these 2 communistic parties. It has taken the DA all of these 30 years to achieve their status as the biggest opposition. The voters need to think outside the box rather than be swayed in hope with small parties.

If / when the GNU implodes billions of rand will leave SA in one month.
A million taxpayers will leave SA to live as refugees in other countries.
The RAND will collapse and civil war will erupt.
The civil war will destroy all infra structure and take SA backwards 200 years.
Like Zimbabwe where they have used an ox wagon as ambulance!
Pray for the GNU to survive!

The Grand Coalition called the GNU is just in its 100 days. Why didn't those things you mentioned happened before❓ Some of us are tired to be always threatened just because you desparatly want us to vote for your federal Democratic Alliance. We vote for the political party that we believe in but not for the one we are told to vote for. Why must we receive threats or is it a crime in South Africa if we don't vote for Helen Zille❓

@nthabibotsi9855 The young and very capable DA Ministers of the GNU are shaking things up and bringing positive change and progress to our beautiful country!!
If you want to live in a modern and prosperous country, where most people have the dignity of jobs, and where our country's infrastructure REALLY WORKS, including public schools and ESPECIALLY public hospitals, then you should vote for the DA!!
See - DA delivers for the poor and vulnerable, BusinessDay
See - Impressive new school in the Western Cape, TH-cam.

Another problem with the MPC was that there was a void of a real big consolidated conservative party, excluding the DA. If only the smaller right wing parties can consolidate and pool resources together to form a strong right wing presence in parliament. ACDP, FF+, PA, UIM, etc. must get over themselves and MERGE.

Self-enrichment for a few elite politicians (aka BEE), while their voters are kept uneducated and on grants (aka poor), so they can continue to push their race hustling and bullshit agendas to remain relevant.
Somehow Mandela's message to forgive and move forward (aka build a rainbow nation for all) has been forgotten.
