Thanks for The amazing Video. The Great Bob Marlowe (UK) has just overhauled my 35 th Anniversary. This Video was a real inspiration for me to get my own one sorted by Bob Marlowe who has done a really good job here in The UK 🇬🇧. And soon my 1978 Bally Playboy will be overhauled too. So nice to see a Great walk round Video and education. Your Restoration work is an inspiration. Thanks also for The History bits about the Games you put on TH-cam. Kind grateful regards Robert.
superb restoration !! always a pleasure to learn with your videos. thank you :) What is the reference of the new replacement coils on the flippers? I am very interested !. thanks in advance.
Lot of hard work there Todd. Especially with the playfield. I've never seen this version, and under the impression, that only the 70's Bally and the Stern version existed. Data East, must of not exported much, especially to the UK.
The gameroom sounds are a nice touch for the pop bumpers, I had never noticed that before! Always learn something new! BTW-- nice job on the board fabrication...that takes smarts to know how to do that...for sure!
Any idea what the playboy targets on the left side do? I can't figure it out. That playfield looks fantastic. How did he repaint it or touch up? Can someone point me to a video of that? It looks like someone tried to touch up wear spots. I have seen many of the 35th's that has terrible touch up. These all must have been heavily routed.
Nate Skorupa Nate...look at another of our videos for this same game...I think we may have 1 other...maybe its explained there...I simply do not remember now...
TNT Amusements Inc in theory.. once you get to be a certain age your not supposed to hear the higher pitched ones. need like a very light weight earplug for it .... despite the hum I'd take any pinball alas I don't think I can watch this now. zzzzzz. sure back in the day i'd be home by now but now no where's that phone call :D

@3:30 you can hear Two Door Cinema in the background....one of my new favorite bands....^_^
I listened again and heard them!
^_^
What is the going rate for a Data East Playboy compared to a Stern Playboy?
perhaps $1000 difference these days
Any pointers on mylar removal?
Why do all old Data East machines have "that hum"? I thought it was an issue with my Laser War, but just about all of them have that buzz. So weird.
A strongly worded letter to Data East is in order!!! :-)
To thank them for these awesome old machines? Sure. ;)

Knocker coil is installed? I have a transistor?
I've played the Bally 79 version in a pool hall. Never seen that one but it looks nice.
It's actually a fun game!
Never been a fan of the back glass on these pinballs..
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
First view!
The zombie piball game.
Agghhhhh!
Does that mean restoration? In Italy, such a job is to be denounced criminally! Really poor
I need ☝️
