That's a lot of Carp. Hopefully everyone fishing the Murray knows to always remove them from the environment. One bit of gold is better than no bits for a last hoorah for the year in the bush. Thanks for sharing your adventures Pete 🌄. Cheers 🍻
A great big THANK YOU for a fantastic year of entertainment! Glad you got out for 1 last swing! We will have to plan a weekend away to find some big gold this year. Maybe some private property or something. Bring on 25👍👍 cheers mate!

Not empty handed so a good end to the year, when you think about all the lead fired into the bush makes you wonder where did it all go? maybe some hit its target and was carried away to eat?
Thanks Pete. Been a great golden year. I weighed all my lead from October 2022 to now & got 880g, average about 400g per year I'm guessing. Well done mate
For sure Sam, it's been great. That's a lot of lead, mines mostly lead shot as I've been working a lot of old area's and in saying that there's a lot of bird shot in there, all a part of it I guess. Cheers mate
Yeeehhaaarrr Pete happy new year mate to you and family Ya got one at least main thing ay Bloody lead it’s a pain but it comes with the territory lol Yes checked a lot of my vids after you mentioned it last time And a vid I did with 7000 views only had 100 likes and others 5-600 only 34 likes What’s wrong with their fingers ay must hurt something awful lol lol to press it Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
Did you say good to see, about catching carp? Hmm, me thinks not!. That's what I usually do, when there's complaints, lay the blame on somebody else! I cant figure out why people hunt lead. 😁. Cheers and Happy new year!
@waynearmstrong5233 The carp are back with a vengeance, such a pain in the ass, you got sick of pulling them in and almost sick of fishing. A few years back you caught bugger all, but unfortunately there back. The lead shot is as bad a carp, but you can't get around it. Cheers mate 👍
@aussiegoldtrolls Your spot on, they were a pain in the ass, it looks like a lot of lagoon carp are in there, they were black as. Only a few years ago you'd only catch a few, but they're back. Cheers mate.
@PetesGoldAdventures we had a resident 1 beside our highbanking set ups on reedy creek over the last week, hooked him twice on a rusty old hook and string we found in the car 🤣🤣 he got off twice 🤣🤣🤣 carp 2 us 0
@ all good Pete. Yep, being out there is the best. My problem is I take on too many projects. I’m going into the Buckland Valley with two detectors, sluice and pans tomorrow. See how things ‘pan’ out. Cheers mate.
@@alanhow3575 I'm the king of too many projects and hobbies, trying to build a trommel at the moment, while doing athletics every weekend and coaching kids, it's a balancing act that's for sure. Good luck on your adventure, sounds like a good time in the making. Cheers
