She was actually referring to Worlds, where Alicia led the team to victory and kind of saved their butts after both Shawn and Nastia screwed up on beam. Alicia turned in a great beam, gave them a pep talk, and then they rocked it on floor.
But, she was twenty in her first olympics. So that should give hope to those that want to be 19 and 20 in the next one. I think most girls don't give themselves a chance, because they get out of world class shape and out of practice. Which is not to say that I blame them. If I were sixteen and on top of the world, I'm not sure if I could make myself work incredibly hard for four more years just for a chance at doing it again.

It was a very costly mistake indeed.
Surprised people think she looks "beautiful" and "stunning" here. I think she looked so much better with her hair up and more eye shadow.
