He doesn't have the speed of Malmsteen or the Shred of Friedman at all. But he is the most musical of all three, what he plays is simple but you could spend a lifetime trying to get it to sound as good and still never manage. He's a master at making every note unique and stand out on it's own. Every phrase has its own attitude and is masterfully played. He's an amazing talent.
