What kit do you use, convert from a 3 phase A/C to DC Wind Turbine PMG.

Note on 8KW model: Just took me 2 weeks to figure out that the CT coil pins in SA must be terminated on 5&6 and not 3&4 "CT-L2". Maybe just please update the manual that gets distrobuted in SA. My parents in law installed the system and in the manual it said to terminate the CT coil into pin 3&4, had the invertor on the Zero Export without limited to load. (Load is referred to as the essential line output) Wrong pin termination as prescribed by manual and blew the alarm DC charge box for the security and the gate charge box along with all the PC's power supplies. Settings was ons Zero Export and system was installed by certified electrician, not myself. I had to figure out that to make the CT coil in SA work, you have to use other pins for termination as that in the manual. A update would be great I believe a lot of people are only pulling 20% efficiency that does not have the knowledge, they essentially have it running as a off-grid invertor and then move all the appliances to the load output to supply power, as I believe a lot of installers has the CT coils on the wrong pins and then limited the Zero Export to "Load" output only to not get the 0-0 error with grid feedback when CT is wrongly functioning. The bi-directional ability on the grid input/output is unknown to a lot of owners in SA. Alot of people in SA could be saving a lot more money. Please make effort to correct or to broadcast it, this invertor is amazingly powerful, but I believe there are many on many incorrect installations in South Africa.

I have another voltronics 8kw inverter called knox Xenon. If i buy this sunsynk 8kw, can i get it in parallel with that inverter? Maybe a stupid question but of someone can help

Hi there, im not an installer, but just want to find out if there is a way to acomplish what i want to do automatically... i have a 5kw sunsynk paired with the 5.32kwh battery... now on sunny days I want the whole house to run of the panels and battery, lets say there is more draw for a couple of minutes than the panels are providing, it should take from the battery and never from the mains unless unavoidable, but then i want to reverse that on clowdy days so that it takes nothing from battery and compensates with mains, unless mains are off, then it should go back to battery.

I don’t suppose Keith wants to give away all his trade secrets, but personally I would love to see an explanation of how the inverters synchronise to the mains and maintain the peak shaving functionality where the CT coil helps prevent export of power when not desired. I have seen the very basic videos sun synk have put out, but the level of explanation I would be looking for would be a functional block diagram of what circuitry is in the inverter to achieve all of that functionality. But in an industry where the Chinese will copy everything, I’m not surprised he’s probably not keen to go into details! 😂

The Sunsynk made by Chinese. Copying it will amount to copying their own product.

For a grid tide system, you can output a matched the AC output waveform by using a signal processor IC. Then you will need a control circuitry to take the result from the signal processing IC. Then using switching control, modify the output AC's waveform. There are mathematics and signal engineering involved. The technology isn't rocket science, but its hard to exactly copy what it does. China has a knock off version for everything anyway.

@@tambo22003 thanks, that’s exactly the kind of analysis I’m looking for. The reason I’m asking is I would like to develop my knowledge in this area to see if I can make better use of the cheap generic HF inverters I run in my off grid system. I’m trained as an electronics engineer but wouldn’t put myself above hobbyist level in knowledge really, but some of what sun synk and Deye are doing with their inverters seems really innovative and potentially with wider applications. It just piques my interest 😁
