Thank you for the informative video. I am having my current back-up system upgraded to full solar with a 5KW Sunsync Inverter. Can you tell me whether or not my 5KW Freedomwon battery is compatible with the inverter?
Hi Keith. i have just had your system installed with a 3.2 solar aray. 3.6kw inverter and 5.1kw battery. The first 2 days of the install the alarm on the inverter and gone off. Could you advise on the possible problem or wrong setting form my installer regards Dave
Hi, 4 weeks ago I installed a brand new backup system, a 8.5kv Inverter and a 8.7kwh lithium battery. In the first few days the battery would charge 5 bars of the 6. The 2nd week it charge only to 4th bar. Now in the 4th week it only charge to the 3rd bar. In the manual it states that the battery need to fully charge at least once a month to ensure accurate COC calculation. I uncoupled the battery for 10 minutes, that did not help. Can I press the reset button on the lithium battery. Do you have maybe something that you could advice I could try?
Hi Keith. I had a 10kW SunSynk inverters & batteries system installed 3 weeks ago by an approved SunSynk installer. They also fitted 16 X 540 W panels. The batteries are lithium and the installer has entered 57.6V in the equalization V setting. I also see that the MPPT1 & MPPT2 are connected together as the system flow chart has 0 W for MPPT2. I also have the slave inverter LiBms 01 showing detail but LiBms02 shows a page full of zero data. Should I be concerned. Thanks
I wish to ask what happens if the pv power is above the max rated for the inverter e.g if max is 15400 watts a three phase inverter power goes to 16500 watts.
Hi Keith. I meant to ask Joel and Tom today ... can we install this inverter as a DC coupled unit with a seperate (additional) PV system connected to it ? Via the MC4 inputs and the dual MPPT..... More clearly, some customers have already got grid-tied PV that might be ( lucky for some) locked into a lucrative feed-in tariff for many years, which cannot be changed ( original generation payments would then be lost if changes to the original install were made !) My thoughts are to still be able to use an existing PV system for loads and maybe charging ? - but add extra panels to THIS inverter and still use zero export and load diversion ( heating element / EV charger etc ) I hope i have explained my question clearly enough ? Thanks. Simon
Hi Keith. Having visited one of the inverters on site, i would suggest perhaps having an option to use more of the LCD display by being able to switch to larger views, instead of having everything all on show at once ?
hello Keith can you please help us about the remote monitoring for 2 hybrid DEYE inverters installed in parallel using solarman business. thank you in advance
I'm in the Philippines, and don't have the best technicians to ask questions to for initial install. Is there a place I can call, or connect to with an expert that I can run a few things by? If not, here is my questions. 1) I have no intent to ever sell back to the grid, so, can I run this a pure grid tie inverter? where I run the power from inverter directly to my Existing Main Breaker box? in this configuration, would the CT connecter automatically match the power needed so as to not back feed to the grid? 2) possibly related question, the inverter has a GRID input GEN input and LOAD output. Do I need to run a line from the Main Grid power to the Inverter? to show "incoming grid" values? if yes, then what do I connect my LOAD Output too? a sub-Breaker-box? is it possible to not use one? and just connect the inverter power into the main box? I guess I've only seen many videos of "theory diagrams" and "programming", but never seen one of someone hooking up a Deye directily to an existing Main Breaker Box type setting.
Dear Experts Please share link to Technical Manual I wish to learn more Here many housing projects have no Utility Grid Supply they use Electricity from Diesel Generators I wish to learn How best this inverter can be used on Generator (pseudo) Grid so the Projects Electricity Generating cost could be reduced with the On-Grid Solar systems 12kW x 10 Nos. to gradually grow Thanking you
The problem with SS is that the owners of the system will be using it, but the settings are aimed at installers. If there is a problem, the installer might not be available immediately.
My installer hasn't got a clue either how to set up the inverter settings 😅. Sunsynk support is pretty poor tbh as they've been trying to phone in and get help and can either not get through or Sunsynk don't resolve. It would be good and relieve some pressure from their busy customer care line if they spent time responding to the many queries on youtube. Many of the questions are what others also want to know but there are no replies.
Can I ask a question? If one of your strings is expected to experience partial shading (via shadow casting etc), is it OK to use optimisers on some (or even all) of the panels on that string? If so, is there an optimser manufacturer that Sunsynk recommend or are they all pretty much of muchness? (I was thinking there may be some affects from the DC/DC switching noise and frequencies of the optimiser and Synsynk MPPT having partial intereference affects). Thanks for your time.
Hi Keith, so when you own an AC coupled solar system, such as Enphase. And the grid goes down, the inverter shall not use the power generated by the solar system?

Pity the quality of the video is so low (360p), please export your next video's in at least 720p. Thank you for all the information.
Excellent presentation! Thank you very much.
Is a bi-directional inverter also a grid-tie inverter?
Thanks for the presentation!
Hi. Which setup would enable an off-grid option, running an induction stove and dishwasher machine?

The pages have changes from those shown on this video. Will you be doing a rework of these videos please?
Hi Keith Please confirm if I have 2 x 5 kw inverters with 2 x 5.2 kw batteries can i add 2 more 5.2 kw batteries to give more storage.

Hi Keith, are you saying that if I have a 8Kwh inverter and 2 X 5.5Kwh batteries im asking for trouble if I try and draw more than 5.5Kwh?
Please confirm what is supposed to come in the package with the 5 kw inverter and 2 batteries
Can a x3 single phase inverters be used to supply a 3 phase system?
I wish to ask what happens if the pv power is above the max rated for the inverter e.g if max is 15400 watts a three phase inverter power goes to 16500 watts.

Where can I buy the sunsynk. I'm from the Netherlands
Need help , no power on the load ??

Sorry ment to say that i have 21 x 450 panels
Is this type of inverter fabricated for the USA market??? ...I guess no...let me know. Thanks.
