Thanks so much! More daily vlogs coming up starting this weekend as we sail Norwegian Prima. We've got AmaWaterways river cruise content coming as well, more on DCL, and some Virgin updates, too!
If we are too picky an eater for the food at Test Kitchen, is it possible to get their cocktail menu elsewhere? They each looked so good and refreshing.
There is no stand alone bar in Test Kitchen, but they share a galley with Extra Virgin, so you could try asking at the bar in Extra Virgin. Sip and On the Rocks seem to have the widest variety of spirits, and I suspect at least some can be made there. The lead mixologist onboard (currently Manny on Scarlet Lady, not sure who is on Valiant right now) should be able to tell you - though there's a good chance many of the bartenders can help. Also, know that there are two menus in Test Kitchen - each with it's own cocktail pairings. They swap back and forth every three days right now.
What an incredible day, thankfully not a Coco Cay! The test kitchen with all of the different cocktails were amazing! The Drag performer was really entertaining, but I would've needed ear plugs because it seemed really loud, especially when phone bells rang. I am not one to worry about what other's think if I wore earplugs to enjoy the show. I would have a hard time breaking away to get work done, I commend you sir!
+1 on the ear plugs. I should start doing that. It's always a good time in The Manor, but it is loud. Splitting my time between cruising, making videos, and working is definitely challenge, but it's a small price to pay for getting to cruise a ton and share the experience.
@@CruiseHabit I am sure glad that you and your wife are making it work for you, because your content is really awesome! Please get yourself a bunch of earplugs, because people seem to like things piercingly loud and I don't understand it.
@@CruiseHabit One thing great about watching a small channel is that you are able to answer everyone's comments and It makes me feel like someone special, because it's not possible for a larger channel.
@@mitchellbarnow1709 I appreciate the comments and love the interaction. It's almost as good as the feeling when I finish a video and finally go to bed 😂
I'm hoping there will be me u additions by the time Valiant makes it to Puerto Rico. The variety required in 4/5 nights is rather different than 7 nights. We're still happy, even as vegetarians with 19 nights on board, but a few additions could go a long way as they add longer sailings and benefit from more repeat guests. Time will tell.
Oh no! We meant to film this last night and forgotn(though it may be in some past live blog posts). There are some jars with gummy bears and a couple other items (maybe three in total), and then they have brownies, rice crispy treats, and a couple other baked goods as well in the display case below the candy. So, not a full on candy store, but def a great spot for some sweet junk food during kareoke, while hanging by the arcade, or just walking by. The social club also has air hockey, foosball, TVs showing sports, and often hosts events. Loose Cannon bar is sort of inside of it as well. Plus you can get boozy shakes during certain hours , though I've not tried done, as that seems awfully filling.
You can see a bit more of the Social Club (from before they added the TVs) in our ship tour. This link will take you directly to that part. th-cam.com/video/1M-SGqWBqNM/w-d-xo.html
@@CruiseHabit I sail this Sunday 5/8 for honeymoon. Already packed. Thinking about going again with friends with one of the last minute deals for July 8 as well.
Hi Billy, great video again but one perhaps editing question is why is the video reversed at times. In this one your tattoo moved, as did your ring. On the one with you both on the tram, parts were reversed also. Guess we'll have to watch those parts again in a mirror 🪞. 29 days until we're on the Summit to Charleston and Bermuda for 10 nights. Hi from Bob and Jill in Connecticut
I'll have to go back and check on this, but I suspect the front camera flips the image. Surprised I'd not noticed! Will take a look and now, for better or worse, I'll be hyper aware of this 😂
So me being the wannabe foodie I am the test kitchen sounds amazing, along with all the other venues... But that one for sure! I'll definitely be considering this for our summer cruise in 2023. Thanks for the content.
Thanks for watching!! Each of the restaurants has something they do well. Test Kitchen for the Adventure. Razzle Dazzle for fun and indulgence. Extra Virgin has quality Italian. Pink Agave is modern upscale Mexican that I love - not Tex Mex. Virgin does great in the food department. The Pizza Place is a deeam for pizza snobs. Many other good options, too.
Awesome content! You have such a unique voice / POV. NEVER STOP!

@@CruiseHabit I hope that you will be able to keep it up, because it’s awesome to be able to have a conversation.
I think those private cabanas might be used a lot when the ship is full.
In the Test Kitchen I don’t think I could have eaten that smoked egg thing but everything else looked amazing
Same consistency as a runny yolk in a poached egg, for example. That's not everyone's jam though, which I get. We love it.
Very cool too see them changing the menu in test kitchen. Had the same concern with repeated visits

How is The Social Club? I’ve read that there is candy at it but I wasn’t sure what type of candy/what the selection is like

Thank you for the info on the tea! Watched your other video too on the tea. Going as a mega rockstar so I will try the all!
Love their tea! Going to order more when I get home.
When do you sail?

@@elissaklein3338 Congratulations! Hope you have a blast on your sailing. Maybe we'll see you in a couple months 😉
I love a good drag show! The orange dessert reminded me of Oranges en surprise from the Titanic menu.
Similar dish, but with a better finish. :rimshot:
Wesley the Diva was amazing 🤩

A week and a half from now :-)
