@@WV_Weasel thank you so much for your kind comment and your list. The Victorinox Explorer is an excellent tool and I like it for outdoor adventures 😁 the lens is very useful 🔎🔎🔎
Nice list, I myself own 3 of those (Manager, Compact, Spirit X). Never felt the need to have a dedicated kitchen knife from Victorinox though. I prefer their multifunctional products.
Thank you 😁 Same here - I started with the multifunctional products Anni got a kitchen knife as a present. Since that I use them all the time. But I also love the Güde and Katocut models 😁 kind regards Clemens
I think the Compact is an excellent all-round pocket-carry for around town. Slim, light, basic and capable, inexpensive for what it includes. The 'Best'? No, nothing is 'the best' for everyone.
Great minds🧠💡... I also would have picked the Manager, Compact, Evogrip, Swiss Spirit, and now I might have to add an Outrider to my collection!... and the kitchen knives are definitely an upcoming goodie to enjoy. :)
Thank you so much for your kind comment 😁 I really like these kitchen knives and they are also a great present. The Victorinox Outride is one of my favorite tools for the backpack. It was always there when I have to use it. Kind regards Clemens
i recently got the Leatherman Arc and i love it - but when you showed off the leafher holster with all the add-on storage options, i literally gasped with jealousy (pretty sure I'd need a custom holster for my Leatherman, and i haven't seem one as good as the stock option you showed)
I have the Leatherman Arc on my wishlist, too 😁😁😁🧰🧰🧰 I love the Victorinox holster because it has so many options and it’s possible to include for example a Knipex Cobra XS instead of the bit holder 😁 kind regards Clemens
Those kitchen knives are great, but what they are lacking is sheath, so they are hard to carry with you. Fortunately there's also foldable version "Swiss Classic Foldable Paring Knife" that should also be dishwasher safe.
Good video 👌 quality multi tool are just too expensive - I rarely need pliers when out and about anyway. Most people have tools in the car anyway. I have several SAKs but apart from the classic 58 mm on keys rarely carry them. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. The Victorinox 58mm series is definitely the true EDC. I love the Victorinox Classic, the Victorinox Rambler and the Victorinox Manager on my keychain. From time to time I also carry different Victorinox models together with the Knipex Cobra XS 😁 kind regards Clemens
Makes sense to carry small pliers and SAK rather than a £100 LM or Swiss tool. My first was the waiter - lost many years ago :( Keep up the good work 👍
@@edcideas nearly impossible to find where I live. But I have a Rambler, Compact, Outrider and some other as well. But Manager would be a perfect small EDC. Cheers!
My main EDC Swiss Army knives:
1. Swiss Champ
2. Explorer
3. Manager
Looking at the Outrider as my next purchase!
Good video!

Ive carried the spirit x for 4 years now, an absolute staple in my edc. Paired with the mini champ there’s not a lot i cant do
The Victorinox SwissTools Spirit is EDC perfection 😁 I love the tool set and the fit and finish 🧰👌🏻
Pioneer X Alox and the Forester, even perhaps the Pickniker. 👍👍
That’s a great choice 😁 i really like the tool set of the Victorinox Pioneer X 👌🏻 best regards Clemens
Great recommendations! I have them all and agree that these are great!
Thank you so much 😊 I know the pictures from your collection and your collection is high end 😁🔝

My Víctorionox mini collection
1. Compact
2. Pioneer X
3. Manager
4. Recruit
5. Mountaineer
That’s a great selection 😁 you are ready for different tasks

You are right - different persons need the tools for different situations 😁🤩 but the Victorinox Compact is an excellent choice 😁😉
1. Huntsman
2. Outrider
3. Swisstool X plus ratchet
4. Cybertool lite.
5. Rescuetool
That’s also a great choice 😁 I always have the RescueTool in my car

I agree with you 😁 a sheath would be great. I am actually looking for a sheath option, too
On my keychain: evogrip 18, manager and a little Fenix flash light.
Always on me.
A great choice 😁 I love the Fenix flashlights. What model do you carry on your keychain? Kind regards Clemens

I have the Ranger and the Huntsman.
Both are great models. I love the Victorinox Ranger series for outdoor and bushcraft 🏕️🏕️🏕️
No Alox???
I really like the Victorinox Alox versions. The are great for EDC and collectors. I was thinking about the Pioneer…
Manager has been discontinued:(
Yes, and some other cool models from Victorinox, too. But it’s still available in some stores

@@edcideasdo you have any suggestions where to find it?
@@wjennekens hi, mostly in local stores here in Germany. The are little stores and normally they don’t have a website 😬
