Def be cool to have mounts whether it be a horse or a flying mount
Yeah, maybe as an end game flying or ground mount, I know the glider helps balance the pace of the game atm, but once you've done most things and discovered most areas it would be good to be able to bypass all the travel time. A dire wolf wouldn't be a bad call I think for a ground mount.
They mentioned that the new Biome will open up "more verticality." After thinking about it, I believe not only will there be more land mass to explore, we will find ourselves exploring caves, cliff sides, and mountain tops. I am sure it will have very complicated mazes in the caves/ caverns and many other natural features you would find across the Earth in all various mountain ranges.
I think you're right, I'm sure there'll be heaps of random POI to explore and hopefully some new traversal options to help with the verticality of the new area.
And hopefully any logic puzzles brought into it are a little more challenging, it doesn't have to be dark souls challenging, just a bit more.
In regards to pets I thought dogs and cats had already been confirmed?
By the looks of the shorts or tiktoks the devs put out they are.
I'd made the video before they showed the short clips, really looking forward to checking out the update, still not sure on the release date for it.
I’ve never even heard of this game ever. Now I have research to do.
It got overshadowed by Palworld, they both released around the same time.
If you enjoy your survival games, there's a good chance you'll be able to sink some hours into this one.
It's a really well detailed handmade map that's almost entirely able to be terraformed and has one of the best building systems I've seen in a game, really good for exploration and creativity.
Great vid man, exciting stuff on the way! Agree with the sun temples being too simple, would love to see some more challenging puzzles.

Those puzzles are far too basic, very little challenge.
There is extra damage for a ranged headshot, and there is backstab damage as well; since the demo. I was thinking today about the devs giving us pets, really hoping for a wolf, the scavengers have wolves, then I thought, oh no, what if they just give us rats for pets. I really want that wolf helm in the newest tease, and the matching armor as well. I think what I'm really appreciating right now, is the total customization of the game; basically, everyone can play their way, so cool. Have you gotten all the achievements? I've got the kindlewaste flame shrine one left to do... I'm just running around in circles. The "not AI generated" gaming setup looks nice. Have an awesome weekend.

I've not used ranged a lot, makes sense they have extra headshot damage.
I think the addition of extra combat mechanics, like the smokers and hunters from L4D would be a good challenge and add some more pressure during fights, not necessarily the same as L4d, but something along the lines of.
I've done 27/37 achievements, but I don't really chase them on any game.
Maybe an army of rats as pets?, or maybe goats and they just run around head butting things :)

I just had a bit of a look through the discord and it doesn't look like there's any firm release date in mind (it was a quick look), judging by these guys it shouldn't be too far off.
I'm hanging out for it too, absolute gem of a game.
They dropped a 16 second short yesterday for the mountain biome, really cool stuff... I really want chakrams added as a weapon...I can't wait for it to drop.... thanks good stuff

I feel like game needs a lot more Magic variety, including utility spells. Elemental melee weapons with various effect would be nice too.
@@NinesIng Agreed, the variety is a little lacking in the combat department, if it was more varied and maybe had some more effects, visual and damage wise, it would make combat much more satisfying.
Maybe like a charged move for wands that shoots heaps of bolts out with an aoe, things like that.

Could definitely use more decorative items, I'd like to see the game opened to the modding community, they'd smash out a shit load of great content, I know this game has a dedicated player base that would do it. Then the devs could implement some of the better mods into the full game.

Hey Salad, it's still in early access on steam, the devs mention full release for pc, xbox and playstation in 2025, so consoles will need to wait a little longer to play the game, as far as I can see they don't mention any time fame in 2025, just some time next year.
By the time it hits console the game should be much better than it already is.
Valheim is much better....
I played Valheim a little, but couldn't settle into it, the graphics look like mush, maybe if I put some extra time into it, I'll enjoy it.
What do you find better about it?
I like valheim much better too but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy enshrouded as well. Valheim was a game I made fun of graphically when it came out but me and my friends played it anyway and we were hooked on that game nonstop for like two weeks
@@GangstaliciousMC It took me a little to get into Enshrouded, when I first started I played for a few hours and put it aside to play Palworld, but after I put 900 hours into that I got back into Enshrouded and something clicked.
It could be the same with Valhiem, I think playing with friends would make it a different experience
