    the 4000 I only "cofounded" with some cash needed to have it made. the 4000CR however (that did not exist when I shipped to you) I have been working on..

    So how do you output thru the serial?

    • @8bitmanshed
      @8bitmanshed  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it's what the Diagrom does. It outputs through the serial port. You just need a null modem to a computer to monitor the serial output with Putty

    Nice going Ollie. Maybe its the ReAmiga 1200 you did but you make it look effortless. Many of us desperately want to do these but should we be asking our mate Elon for loan?

      yeah the chipset is the big expense and unobtainium part on these. I don't think I'd be able to pull this off without chucky's help with the chipset for it. To be quite honest, I'm doing this wrong, really, these PCBs are actually more designed to revive old boards with extensive battery acid damage. The idea is to move the expensive chipset from one board to the other and, possibly , salvage some of the rest

      @@8bitmanshed That's because there are people and companies hoarding them, which raises the prices to stupid.

      nah. this specific chipset has always been rare and expensive. Not that many were made. It's just rare and there's none for sale
