Experiencing him this year in August was the most intense energy I’ve ever felt at a live show. Getting into a mosh pit while drunk off soju and dancing to “SIN MIEDO” was so crazy, I kept falling on my ass lol. “either on or off the drugs” made me so emotional at the end of the night. He had purple / pink lights flaring in the background and it just made the experience that much more breathtaking. 10/10 artist 💛
I've been to my share of metal pits and the moshing has gotten damn polite. Not so at the Peggy show. When Call me Maybe came on we opened up that fuckin circle pit.
My favorite part is in the final chorus of i recovered from this, when he finally refers to her as "girl". The switch up from using bitch and ho beforehand really hits the nail, showing him finally just seeing her as another person, accepting it and wanting to move on. A great trip in one song alone.
The production on this album is top quality, but that's Peggy's main draw so no surprise. I *love* Exmilitary. When it starts transitioning between those grimey guitar licks and then the luscious layered strings/background vocals 😩🤌🤌
Either on or off the drugs is one of the best Peggy songs ever, the first thing you notice is the incredible production because of how much it contrasts the rest of the album. Then on relistens you hear how he FLOATS on the beat. Then once you really get into it, you realise the lyrics are one of a kind. Especially the “I hope my son ain’t weak as this” “I hope my daughter ain’t weak as this” part Fuck man it’s just sensational
I decided to go see Peggy when he did the Lay Down My Life tour. Hands down best show I’ve ever gone to, and the music on this album sounds incredible live. Peggy definitely has album of the year with this one, and if you’ve never seen Peggy live, I highly recommend it
It's great to see you find your own meanings on the albums you listen to. You give them a fair try and for the most part it seems you're spot on some of the artist's messages
this is in my top 3 albums of the year! Would you ever consider reacting to Imaginal Disc by Magdalena Bay? That's my number one so far. It's a lot different then what you usually react to on this channel but i think you'd love it or appreciate it a great deal!
the back end of the album is probably some of peggy's best work, got me emotional and i recovered from this is already one of my favorite song he ever made
I just know you would definitely LOVE Ants From Up There by Black Country, New Road. It might be album of the decade for me and it is perfect for your reactions.❤
this album is an actual 10/10 album to me and coming off of this high right into vultures 2 gave me INSANE whiplash also 7:00 i went to his show and he actually played an extended version of the outro it was hella dope
You should totally give Black Country, New Road a try! Their “Ants From Up Here” album is probably the most well rounded and polished one, and has the most consistently good tracklist. And their more recent “Live at Bush Hall” album has some more lows, but also some insane highs (the crescendo at the end of Turbines/Pigs is an emotional experience). In my opinion they are truly some of the greatest artists currently making music, incredible sound and musical composition
"either on and off the drugs" has got to the be the most interesting sample flips i've seen in a while. taking Future's "Turn On the Lights" that's been run through AI and giving it some incredible substance. say what you will about AI, but peggy did something real special with this one.
I know you're mostly into the hip hop type of scene lately but I hope you do an indie/psychedelic type of genre soon! recommended album; Cuco - Para Mi really great album I love that is a classic joint :)
Stumbled upon your channel looking for Peggy reactions- much respect you are clearly wise beyond your years please excuse the cliche phrase- I’m a 45 year old woman grew up on hip hop during the best era - Peggy feels like early Gravediggaz, cannibal ox, cage, early def jux cats- super impressive reaction ✊🏽🫡
i believe with my whole heart path'll give lucki a chance and they'll understand why so many people think he's a poet and a VERY underrated lyricist (tho i feel like his lyrics aren't up to par with what they used to be, the way he can put complex feelings you cant even explain yourself into words is something so special)
i wish i could feel music the same way path dose, every time i listen to music it just seems like a chore, that’s why i love the reaction videos 😭 must be the headphones???
haha trust me, i dont think it’s the headphones, these are very flat! I honestly don’t have a strong reaction to most music-that’s why I’m so picky about the reactions that “make it”to this channel & why I upload infrequently.
rahhh new path album reaction , this album was my first time seeing him in concert and man it was such a cool experience, def wish i got into him sooner
If u wanna hear an album from him that’s probably the most unique lyrically and sonically, you should try The Ghost Pop Tape. It’s honestly a very sad, mellow vibe, but in a comforting way. You’ll also hear him sing way more since he barely raps over the album.
I highly recommend giving By The Time I Get to Phenix by Injury Reserve if you have not heard it already , they have an amazing story and the album has a super unique sound.
what did his barber do to deserve this 🥲

Awesome observation dude. I've listened to this project on repeat since it came out and hadn't noticed that.
yeah I noticed that too, really cool note to end the album on after so much confrontation and aggression in the lyrics throughout
Definitely my 2nd favorite this year behind Imaginal Disk. Absolute fire.
Such a good AOTY
199%
Love both these albums. They’re soo good
Hey my 1 and 2 as well!
YOU HAVE THE SAME TASTE AS ME

It's crazy that Buzzy Lee is actually Steven Spielberg's daughter
The production on this album is top quality, but that's Peggy's main draw so no surprise. I *love* Exmilitary. When it starts transitioning between those grimey guitar licks and then the luscious layered strings/background vocals 😩🤌🤌
Im OBSESSED with how you edit your commentary into the track and show your reactions to the most satisfying pieces of the tracks. LOVE!
Yess so happy about this. Such an incredible album

First time watching one of your videos and I love this style of music reaction. You add so much more than the standard live reaction video.
