I live in a 1000sf 2 story 2/1 cabin in a small rural forest town in West Marin county. We are surrounded by this kind of nature. I have felt for years I never have to go on vacation. I pay $1350 a month in rent. You can experience nature on a budget if you pick the right location to live.

If it wasn’t for the government we wouldn’t have Yosemite and other great lands to visit and admire the beauty. So unless you could find the few amount of non greedy people that will preserve such a beautiful piece of land it would last longer in the hands of the national park service EDIT( or the nature conservatory if you don’t like the government)
