Just got a new T304 and the keyboard would not work after sleep mode. For 3 days the Asus tech support folks had me installing all kinds of drivers and nothing worked. I was about ready to box it up and return it. I saw this and tried it. Success! it worked. Thank you very much!
You sir are a STAR! I just bought a Transformer Pro 3 and at this point in time nowhere else tells you that you how to resolve this problem. Every time it hibernates the keyboard is and touchpad is useless. I did figure out if you undock and reattach the keyboard - it will work again but if you do this too often the keyboard joint gets stressed.This SOLVES the problem. THANK YOU Gabit!
If your keyboard not working after sleep mode. Follow the steps to fix this issue 1.De-attach your keyboard 2. Turn on your laptop 3. Keep laptop turned on without using and wait untill it goes sleep again 4. When it goes into sleep mode again completly, attach your keyboard 5. Press any key from keyboard. Laptop will turn on It will work.

Did you connect screen through the usb c alt mode , if yes , which types ? ( hdmi , display port ) ?
