The 15% AVI buff is always active. Also: You didn't mention that she only really shines if you pair her with BBs and sync their salvos with her skill. But I guess these videos are mostly meant to be memes and not guides.

Notice in game that the slot is described as 'aircraft', not 'fighters' or any other type of aircraft.

You can put the fairey albacore in the second torpedo slot, you only need one to activate her perk, and put any other one in the first torpedo slot which offers some mix and match goodness, like Fairey barracuda for pure damage, or if you are feeling cheeky Aichi B7A Ryuusei and replace a steam catapult with one of the new core data equips the 100/150 aviation fuel (only minus 30 avi), which increases the speed of your launch planes to make the torpedo barrage from the Ryuusei to hit a target still under the influence of ZA WAARUDO, or the barracuda albacore set up with the homing becon to make her launch time sync with BB Volleys
or use a VH Armorplate for massive survivability boost

Actually her red skill, u don't need to use the Faerly(?) Albacore to get 15% Avi buff (there is "." After 15%) , but if u want to get her barrage u need that plane

By the way, shouldn't You run Formi with 1 Albacore 1 Baracuda as torps?Also, she's great in manual pve. Her ZAWARUDO, can easily stop suicide boats, freeze boss for initial BB voleys, torps etc. I like her a lot. Her only downside is class specific reload.
Only need one Albacore, put it in the bottom slot since it has the lowest efficiency and put the Barracuda in the middle slot.

Her cloth, personality and the glock in the backgroudn art with teh time manipulatin ability are more a reference to Kurumi from the " Date a live" series

Umm... 1 albacore and 1 barracuda is better for her right? Barracuda is better even with worse efficiency slot, and the 1 albacore is good enough to activate the skill. Wouldn't this setup give more dmg?
Yes to all. You'd also want to switch her fighter slot to a dive bomber slot as her fighter efficiency isn't so great at 120% max so she'll struggle a bit against waves of enemy fighters.
So you suggest equipping it with fighters over dive bombers. I nevertheless did the same, since I intend to finish ch 12. But for farming ch 10, what dive bombers should I equip? How good is the gold dauntlas? I've chosen gold hellcat over it, but if I chose a bomber, which should it be?

You probably wanna put a Ryuseei in instead. Think about, she Stops Time. Pretty much guarantee to do full damage with the Aimed Torps, that do fuckton of DMG. Ryusei x2, or Ryusei/Albacore mix, either is fine. Though the Albacore barrage would help more in Mob nodes, probably.

Best Equip is Reppu, Ryusei, Albacore, and two gold catapults fight me
you can change one catapult for the homing beacon (core shop) to time her airstrike with BBs
You can trade a gold catapults with the aviation gasoline and have the play fly so fast they won't miss the torps
Just Beacon and Av Oil. I also used Firefly instead.
Having enty and formi as a starter was awesome. So much damage
Honestly a lot of wrong info here, you don't need the fairy albacore for the 15% AVI, the efficiency yes but it still doesn't make the albacore better than barracudas so more than one is just bad especially since you only need one for the extra barrage. Not to mention there are other options for torp bombers that can deal more focused damage to bosses and make bringing any amount of albacores a mistake in certain circumstances. Why bring aoe clear torp bombers when you can get 100% accurate focused torp bombers. barracudas are fine for mobbing and pvp but not bossing like sakura torp bombers.

The wording of Supporting Wings doesn't have the 15% AVI Buff listed after " While (...) Albacore equipped:", also that is a singular Fairey Albacore not plural.

just need 1 albacore and put the albacore on the bottom slot because of the difference in efficiency (albacore gets more efficiency), put barracuda on the middle of the slot

I dont have Albacores but i still use her, ans shes so good even without that perk, i also use anti-torp bulge due to the damage she takes smh...
Her PvP is quite accurate, she can delete enemy ships when my vanguard is having problems dealing damage to enemy's DDs, shes Za warudo perk is the best in the game if youre looking for some pvp.
U don't need an Albacore to proc her 15% increase in AV stat, only the efficiency and extra Albacores need the Albacore

dive bombers are nice but they take more time for Formi to lauch for another second or two depend on rld time of the dive bomber. So the ideal is the fighters with bombs and the albacore-barracuda gold
