The best ever looking tiger shovelnose i have ever seen. Stunning in colour for sure.
Good colors but IMHumO the body is a bit too short and chunky, they are usually more graceful looking. Not to mention the common snout defect.
He’s beautifulI I’ve always coveted a tiger shovel nose.He looks perfect to me Vic :)
Dovii really stands out with that hint of blue in the fins
Beautiful Tiger S.Remember one i had way back spending a whole day trying to fold a big silver dollar in half(it succeeded).Lesson learned😂
Interesting. I can picture your TSN doing it :)
5:15 look at Bigger Bad looking all stoic 😁👍
Never noticed the hump on him/her until you pointed it out tho Vic lol,
It might get worse with age, it often does.
Beautiful TSN! I miss mine, "Kovu", I used to hand feed him.
Hand feed the TSN? I hope you are wearing a leather glove because they grab food violently and strongly. Can they be trained to take gently? We've never succeeded in this.
@@Fish-Story It was only about a foot long. I was giving "feeder goldfish", comets I believe.
@@ChucksFeeesh I see. Thank you. So it did get your fingers too but was too small to leave any significant damage, I assume.
@@Fish-Story Yes, I could definitely feel contact.
@@ChucksFeeeshGood to know :)
first comment!! Happy XMAS Vick!!
Ozzies wake up first :) Best wishes, Mark! Merry belated Christmas!
Definitely a good looking TSN for sure. At least in my humble opinion..
I tell ya tho Vic Bigger Bad is looking better every time we see him. The colors are really coming thru now so he must be very comfortable. Probably one of the very rare times I'll ever say I'd wanna see a fish moved to a smaller tank but in his case and maybe in time I do hope you consider giving him his own tank. They can be very personable when it's just him and maybe a female in the Tank. And I know you don't care about views like other fish tubers do but you have a seriously jumbo Dovii brother that would be one hell of an attraction doing regular feeding and update videos starring "The Bigger Bad" 😁
I don't think I've seen a Bigger dovii than him and really havnt seen any his size since maybe GuapoteMel. And sadly he said Goodbye to youtube over a year ago. Anyway as always awesome video bro, Merry Christmas.
You sound like a dovii junkie :) Thank you, Joe. Yes, you are the second peer to teach me that when kept alone, the cichlids are far more interactive with the keeper. Bigger Bad grabs food but other than that he stays aloof indeed in this huge tank and community. But I'd rather Bigger Bad grows to his max possible size, if God is willing, than to keep him in a smaller tank and hence to a smaller size than he is capable of reaching.
My sovelons also 20inch
👍
Those Tigers get huge and will eventually eat up all the fish in there
Right. We change tanks as needed as our fish grow.
I remember when you dropped the red devil in there and he almost got him in his mouth.....he tried to but missed
Right. It was a fem red dovii. She is still in the 1800 gal doing great.
So it's a snook that looks kinda similar to the female dovii?
Red bay snook cichlid.
3:31 , what's up with the dorado cat's mouth
It lost the maxillary barbel on the right hand side and now rubs the wall on its 24/7/365 laps, constantly rubbing that blister.
@@Fish-Story thanks for the info :D
Victor what is the other silver cat in that 4500. Is it a Indian shovelnose?
Piraiba. There is also vaillantii.
@Fish-Story I knew the piraba I thought the other was a laulao but the top fin was throwing me off.
@@jamessutton3513 Happy New Year, James! Oh, ok, yes, our Brachyplatystoma vaillantii, the Laulao catfish or piramuta, has a badly damaged dorsal fin from 5+ years ago. I need to cut the edges of it to see if I can trigger it to grow back.
@Fish-Story awesome thanks for the reply I love watching your daily updates while I'm getting ready for work.
