Thank you!
I agree B for brush but instead of the bracket keys (which can be a problem when you have a keyboard in more than one language) CTRL+ALT allows you when holding the right and left buttons to adjust the brush size AND hardness.Otherwise as usual a very well presented video.Would love to see your slant on global clonning though.
Thank you! Global clonning??
This was in the original AP,it has now been replaced by a new method.You have to open the sources panel and set to global,this method is very useful when you need to clone in other elements from another image into the original.James Ritson has produced a video explaning this (th-cam.com/video/YtjtK23keN0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=AffinityPhoto),however I would love to see your version.@@Graphicalfinity
@@JohnCollins-iy1pw Thanks for the clarification (regarding global cloning). Check out an older video of mine, about cloning: th-cam.com/video/eflKSuFrmHE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lmKuA_0iAxpwRGj_&t=491
What is interesting (and not mentioned by James Ritson i guess) is that you can even use an existing pixel layer from the current document as a global source.. which is pretty cool.
Thanks!
My deepest apologies for that,I did search you YT channel but somehow seemed to have missed it.@@Graphicalfinity
1:21 How did you manage to assign shortcuts to "Hide/Show Others" command? Is it present in the main menu of macOS?
It is in the layer menu... i double checked it is also available in Windows
@@Graphicalfinity Thanks. You are right! I was looking for it in Publisher, unfortunately, it's missing there, but it is really available in Photo and Designer.
Wait a minute, my Affinity scrollwheel defaults are different than what you mention. Why would that be?
Ctrl (cmd) + scroll = zoom in and out
Alt (opt) + scroll = rotate canvas
Shift + scroll = horizontal scroll
Scroll = vertical scroll
Could very well be... i am guessing the rotation is an OS setting which i probably have turned off and on top that i have a bunch of optimisations/shortcuts in the mouse software (logitech), so maybe it might be just me and my personal silly mouse :)
