Favorites-#1,Wizard of OZ, and the East Lake Cherry Dresser. Tip-- When painting a mirror frame, or glass door frame tuck a deck of cards ($1) in between the glass mirror and wood frame, paint the wood, and remove the deck of cards while the paint is still wet--Fast and Easy!
Projects #1 and #8 are my favorites.
Always enjoy seeing the variety of projects on your channel.
100 thumbs up in the first minute, I just know I'll love it all! Including your chill attitude and gratitude for the blessings in your life, and the realness of being a penny pincher!
I am so happy to hear that, thank you
LOVE the Wizard Of Oz dresser! Great job on that 👍😀
Thank you so much Michelle
The little Eastlake dresser was my favorite. Beautiful job!!
Thank you Cece! I have another one I am going to restore soon!
You and your husband are amazing. The skill and talent that you both have are amazing. Over the years I have purchased some 1800 furniture.
Thank you so much Stella. its great furniture
I loved them all, I can’t choose between them. The emerald dresser was stunning, so I guess it was my favorite
Thank you Angela. There is something so special about that color, you can't look away
You are a furniture Guru. It's so hard to choose just one. My favorite is #1 & #5, I couldn't decide. All the projects were wonderful. If I only had half your energy ❣️
Thank you so much Donna! i am so happy you enjoyed them so much
Pearl green - stunning! I love random acts of kindness as well!! It is so fun to see the happy surprise in their eyes. Great job.
Secretary unit is my fave...really rocks the metallic gold inside the shelf part!
Thank you Charlene
Wizard of OZ 😊 EVERYTHING looks beautiful 😊
Thank you Angel
All of these projects were phenomenal. Difficult to pick just one. The 1800's dresser be my 1st n the display cabinet be my 2nd choice. Love the green on the benches with the gorgeous fabric seats.
Thank you so much Georgie! I am so glad you enjoyed several of my pieces
I love your courageous spirit as you tackle these projects ... Wizard of Oz is my fave
Thank you Janet!!!
I really love the peace that you painted white and had texture. I would love to do something like that
It was so fun, Lorraine, you will love trying out that technique
Everything looks fantastic but I have to say the first piece and the Wizard of Oz one are my favorites...love the uniqe style of the first piece and the paint color is perfect for it.....and the Oz piece was beautiful too, the addition of the mica powder to achieve the sparkle teal color was an amazing idea! You are very talented, great job Cory!
Thank you so much Karen! I really appreciate it
I love old furniture. It is so well made and beautiful
You are aces! All the projects were just amazing, you turned them into jewels. Hard to pick a favorite but I agree with you for the first project, my favorite too!
Thank you so much Iris. What a beautiful name you have!
Thank you! That is so sweet of you 😊
Your projects are always so great and creative. Hard to pick just one, they all have their own beautiful qualities. Plus, the advantage of us learning from you how you accomplished each one!!!

The secretary unit is my favorite.
Thank you Julia
I loved everything , but my fav was the armoire.
Thank you Robin
Wow, these are all so awesome. Hard to pick a favorite.
Thank you Mary
I like all the projects...but the first is my favorite 👍
Thank you so much Laura
Number 5 is my favorite
I am so glad you liked it!
Everything is super creative
Thank you Danni
My favorite was the wood shop armoire-it would have been cool to paint the inside a contrasting color, too! Loved the fabric on the doors. I often put fabric on the back board on bookcases.
Thank you Barbara I think a pop of color would be cool too! And I love the fabric on bookcases too
I'm torn between the Wizard of Oz buffet and the Eastlake dresser. But they were all great!
Thank you so much Virginia
Really good to see you my friend and my Top fave is the Eastlake of course lol🥰❤️
Thank you Debra, great choice
I can’t decide between the first project and the Eastlake dresser!! Gorgeous!!
Thank you marianna! Those are my top two as well
Absolutely love the color❤
Wizard of Oz and grandmas peice💜

@@DesertDIY I really did 🤗. You’re welcome!
Absolutely awesome makeovers sweetie ❤️❤️
Love all your ideas 💡
Your vision is amazing.
Thank you so much Rhonda
Well, ok, on second thought, even though I said the secretary unit was my fave, I'm looking at the armoire again. I had scored a similar one, which now resides in my dining room as my new "butler's pantry." It's English Arts and Crafts, and I lovingly restored it. Then I found a really cool upholstery fabric remnant, matte-shiny citron green! I used the fabric on the inside back, much like your metallic gold on the secretary. I installed a puck light inside the armoire, and voila! A beautiful surprise when you open the door, and I can see all my "stuff." Had to share that because you always provide the most creative inspiration. Yep, now I'm thinking that your armoire is my favorite.
I love Citron green!!!! I can totally picture your piece in my head and it's awesome
You are amazing!👏🏾
Thank you!
It was so hard to choose a favorite but I liked numbers 1*4*6
Thank you so much for watching and picking your favorites
Mixing the poly with the paint for the last coat. That is brilliant!
It's a great time saver. Thanks for watching
The stools in the second one and your final 2 are my favorites! Especially 9&10 because you just went for it with creativity!
Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from a fellow flipper
They are all so beautiful. You and your husband did an awesome job. Thanks for sharing, Cory ❤
Thank you so much Gina
@@DesertDIY you’re so welcome ☺️
Beautiful
Thank you Barbara
My favorite is the Wizard of Oz! Love the finish. And a close 2nd, the island. They are all wonderful though. I am back to TH-cam after a couple years away and boy have I missed you all. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Thank you so much Janice. Welcome back
I loved the wizard of oz inspired piece.
❤them all. Good to see you again.
Thank you Anita
Awesome video!
Thank you Brandon
All your projects were beautiful as usual! My favorite was the first one although I liked them all!
I enjoyed watching each of your projects done in previous episodes. My favorite is still #5 which would look great in a Hollywood Glam decor home.
Thank you Terri! It sure would. You're going to love my next video, it is very "old Hollywood glam"
Love your grandmas piece❤
I loved the two items for your entry way. Especially your grandmas piece
Great video! I thought I'd seen every one of them, but the entryway table with the coat hangers was actually new to me, or maybe I just forgot!:) Last year I inherited something similar from my grandparents and tried to decide what to do with it. It is wood but only pine and has very different finishes on its body. We also have 2 cats, so I am grateful for your textured finish idea. :D
Oh yay! You will really enjoy that process, it is so fun
The Eastlake dresser was AWESOME!
All turned out beautiful!
Thank you Jackie
Love the color on the 1st on. And hardware. Love the stools . My favorite #3.
Thank you Lydia!
I love this type of furniture: large, many cubbies and drawers.
Hi... my favorite was #9 the cherry dresser, I had one as a little girl. I redo Furniture myself and artistic furniture. Also I've been watching your channel and just realized we're pretty much in the same neighborhood Americare from Los Angeles recently and I'm trying to get my business up and going here
Thank you Ashley! It is always hard starting a business, stick with it
I found a stool in my Grandparents' attic. All it needed was a coat of paint and a cover on top. This was in a late February warm spell so I was able to work outside. This was a three step stool. I happily spray painted it and over painted a design on the seat. Not bad for my first attempt at refinishing. It was sitting in my mom's kitchen when we noticed the previous inhabitants. It turns out a coat of paint doesn't completely seal holes. The more the wood warmed, the more the determined prior tenants made themselves known. Wasp after wasp emerged to scope out their new warm habitat. I should have known better. The year before I brought in a branch with papery orb. I put it in the corner of my bed room. The next day all was well. But the second day, I came home to find what seemed like100's of praying mantis babies crawling all over my room.
Holy moly! That is crazy!
The teal dresser with the gold accents is stunning. Beautifully done😊
Loved the Wizard of Oz flip but I think my favorite was the Eastlake dresser..absolutely STUNNING❤
Project #8 is my favorite. I love things that can be passed on.
Enjoyed all the flips you did, but that antique dresser is remarkable. I don't know about a changing table, but it's beautiful.
Thank you Barbara. It holds all of my daughter and sons clothes as well as her diapers. I have not really been someone who uses a changing table I usually just lay them on the bed to change them
I love your versatile tastes and fearless application!
French ountry . My favorite. Beautiful. Can't ever pick a favorite. Lol
Very pretty bedroom refresh for your son! I wonder how it would look to tuck the bedding in all around the mattress to show off that beautiful footboard?
For special occasions it would look great, but I doubt he will do that on a regular basis haha.
WOW for all pieces of furniture redoes! 🥰👍
Eastlake dresser for the win! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you Jeanine
Yes I liked the first thing you did as well. But the two tables you've just done at the end, are different and so lovely, I really like these. And not forgetting that dresser you restored, that was beautiful. Loved watching. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾❄️
I loved the wizard of oz cabinet, it is beautiful! Could you possibly show us how to transform black gloss wardrobe doors into something brighter and beautiful?
Thank you Margaret! Peel and stick wallpaper would work wonders for something flat and glossy. Amazon has tons of options, I might still have some in my amazon store link too
@@DesertDIY Thank you! That sounds promising! I really want to brighten these wardrobes up, I really appreciate your feedback. 😊
Green and gold was lovely
Loving the finished project
The Mermaid Green blue dress is so awesome and amazing, what a color
I Loved the hutch also. I had seen the video of the green dresser when you first did it. Beautiful color. Great job Corey!
Thank you Dianna!
Beautiful.
I really liked them all… but my favorite were first three👍🏻😁
Impressive! Can't choose a favorite.
The Eastlake dresser is amazing!
Taking care of your family and renovating furniture, kudos to you. You have a very special outlook in your renovating. Extremely well done.
Thank you so much Jo
Number one !
Beautiful colour on Oz dresser.
I really love the dresser (was it Eastlake or something like that?), but I actually think my favourite is the last project with the 2 side tables.
Thank you Deb yes it is eastlake
I love the first piece the best 😊
“Can you believe I can use a piece of furniture that’s over 100 years old!” So adorbs! I have a chest of drawers from the 1710s in regular use. Queen Anne period. Brits love to recycle. ❤
I love that! Why buy new when old is still out there going strong!
That dresser is amazing.
Thank you
Great projects!
Thank you Estelle
Love the dresser!
Hi my favourite is the Wizard of Oz, followed by the cement tables, the rest turned out so beautiful as well
