After a long winter of restoration, its time to get the CA out in the field doing some work! Getting the plow all tuned up to plow our gardens for the year
She turns real nice. It’s nice when the old veterans can still come out to do a days work. We have an AC WD but she’s pretty used up and worn out. We could do the work but the parts (if you can get em) would cost more than the whole tractor is worth. I’m glad yours is in good shape. Best wishes. 🤠👍👀✅
I come from a AC FAMILY, my older brother had a narrow front 52 CA . He had the mounted 2 14’s with coulters. Plowed many a vegetable garden with it🚜. Thanks for the cool video
That engine sounds great! I have a Farmall M, a 100 about the size of yours and a IH 274 diesel. I always heard AC's had strong engines and great governors! Good video...from N.C.
Great plowing. Tractor sound great. But seems awfully hard to start. Hehe. Just kidding. Fuel injection junk nowadays doesn’t start as good as that does.
Can you run me thru how to get the 3 point to hold position on these things? I have the same setup and can't get it to do anything but full-up and float - which means the plow digs to the center of the earth.
Question for you I have a 52 ca and just put a 3 point conversion on it. Is the hydraulics just to lift and uses the implements weight to go down? What setting do you run yours on?( drawbar, hold position, delayed)

Definitely something I need. We cannot get that plow to work right with those arms

Yes I agree. It's on my list to figure out over the winter hopefully by next spring it'll be better!

It would be super helpful to see what the setup should look like. I've got the manual for the tractor but not the plow
