Think Freddy pulling Nancy's mom through the small window in the front door of Nancy's house at the end of the first Nightmare is particularly good!! Love Freddy Krueger! Robert Englund is a horror movie legend!!!!
The scream is terrifying when the thunder crashes and it echoing off in the distance but its clearly an inflatable doll being pulled through the window lol
Freddy torments Debbie in Part 4 that way because shes TERRIFIED of bugs and we see her stomp a bug earlier. So we see Freddy make this her doom because thats her biggest fear. BTW, my favorite is the tv death in my favorite in the series, Dream Warriors. Great list folks and keep the awesome work coming please.
Tina's death scarred me for life...from her being cut then being picked up thrown against the wall and being dragged up the wall to the ceiling all while Freddy is grunting to get her up there will NEVER leave my mind...Julies death in Wes Cravens New Nightmare was great too.
Will is just emotionless, even while he’s dying. Wizard Master’s acting is something less than masterful. I can tell that this guy didn’t win an Oscar. He could’ve played the scene better. He just seems unfeeling and stiff. Even while he’s dying, he seems so emotionless and flat. He could at least emote better.😺👻
For me, number one has to be Johnny Depp's geyser of blood. Amazing how they did that without a computer. You don't see effects like that very much anymore.
It was actually easier than you think. Its filmed with all the stuff upside down. They literally nailed the items down, then let the blood fall down through the hole. The BTS of the original is amazing!
A Nightmare On Elm Street still is one of my favorite movie franchises ever. Freddy Krueger is one of the greatests and most iconics villains Hollywood ever made.
One, two, Freddy's coming for you Three, four, better lock your door Five, six, grab your crucifix Seven, eight, gonna stay up late Nine, ten, never sleep again
100% agree... Tina's death was my very first true horror movie experience when I was about 8 years old. I had seen Evil Dead and Ash was my first horror movie crush... But the deaths in that movie were so cheesy and fun that it didnt scare me at all... but Tina... after that scene, I was hooked on Freddy... Freddy turned into Jason... Jason to Chucky and Chucky to Michael...
As iconic and groundbreaking as Tina and Glen's deaths were, Debbie's should have been #1. To this day, that is one of the most inventive and horrific death scenes ever put in a slasher movie, all the more so because of how drawn out and increasingly nasty the transformation gets from scene to scene.
Honestly that Debbie death that f***** me up man when I first watch it because I hate body horror with like mainly the fly and that cuz I just think it's so disgusting
I tend to agree Freddy became less of a monster and more like a comedian as the movies went on. But on the other hand, his kills in the later films truly shows what sick, twisted, sadistic and evil sense of humor Freddy has!
I agree. It's so terrifying actually. One of the causes why I like the Remake more than the OG NOES. In the OG it just looked too funny, because you see it isn't a real person. Also what I didn't like in the OG was that everyone survived and it was all just a nightmare in a nightmare.
Freddy: there's gonna be some Annie's in my- all these type movies. You better keep up... mental image: weapon nails and evil laugh Me trying to make sense of nonsense brushing sh off: I'm fn trippin. ...wait, what's her name? Lawd, it's just fn movies
Phenomenal job mojo as always. My favorite video that I've ever watched. My top five deaths. 1. Tina. A nightmare on elm street 2. Phillip. Dream warrior's 3. Glenn. A nightmare on elm street. 4. Dean. Remake 5. Jennifer. Dream warrior's. Freddy krueger is the goat and RIP to the master of horror wes craven. 🙏
One of the saddest things about Joey's death is that it's not the first time his "hormones" were exploited by Freddy. It was just too easy to trick the poor horndog.
Felt like Mark's death was underrated on a disturbing scale. His whimper as the color drains from his body and subsequent screams as he helplessly gets torn limb from limb until eventually getting decapitated was intense.
Nothing will beat the first kill of Tina. They managed to not only make it terrifying, but Amanda Wyss’ acting is so believable, you’d actually believe she is being tortured. I think about how utterly horrible it would be to watch your significant other being murdered right before you… and there is absolutely nothing you can do… that is genuine horror…
I actually felt bad for Carlos. I've got an ear ache like crazy and seeing his ears pulsing is how mine feel. LOL And poor Julie deserved better. In my opinion 5 had the best kills.
Wizard Master's acting seems something less than masterful. He just seems emotionless, even while he's dying. He could've played the scene better. He just doesn't show legitimate fear. His acting just seems so flat and lifeless. He could've at least tried to emote better. I never thought anyone could sound so emotionless while they're being killed.😺👻
Yeah, I love Jesse’s kill too. Especially because when Freddy does slash him, there’s some dark humor when his cellmate bangs at the door and yells he didn’t do it. Wonder where that guy is today.
Bonus entry: Freddy Goes Green. NIGHTMARE: RETURN TO ELM STREET. While my hypothetical reboot may not be a real film (at least not yet), its version of Freddy is at least quite a threatening villain, harking back to the original film. Hank learns this the hard way when his dreams of a peaceful autumn day in the park turn sour, beginning with the Jump Rope Girls appearing and singing Freddy's nursery rhyme. Jump Rope Girls: One, Two, Freddy's coming for you! The ominousness continues as day turns to night in a matter of seconds, and an ominous wind picks up. Hank: What the fu-! This culminates when Freddy manifests as a version of himself made entirely of leaves. Freddy: SURPRISE! Then, he chases Hank through the park and taunts him for putting his children, Luke and Lizzy, in danger unintentionally first by helping to burn Freddy, and then by putting them on sleeping pills. Then, Freddy finally does Hank in with a swift slash in the throat, cementing his victory with a cheesy tree pun. Freddy: you were a real PINE in the neck Hank. AHAHAHAHA!
For me #1 will always be Johnny Depp getting eaten by his own bed, and then seeing the bed vomit up a geyser of his blood 2. The one where used the kid’s veins as puppet strings from part 3 3. The roach motel death from part 4 4. The motorcycle fusion from part 5 5. Welcome to Prime Time, b*tch from part 3 6. The drug needle death in part 3 7. When he killed the boyfriend in jail in the remake, mostly because it was funny when his cellmate starts screaming “I didn’t do it!” 8. Tina’s death in the first film 9. Julie’s death in New Nightmare. Yeah, it’s just a repeat of Tina’s but it was kinda sad seeing her reaching out to Dillion 10. The exploding hearing aid from Freddy’s Dead.
Oh man I love em all. Hard to top Johnny Depp getting pulled into his bed and sprayed out all over his room like someone dropped him in a blender with the lid off though. Gave me nightmares as a kid lol.
Karen has my respect just for trying to silver herself from drugs. It’s bad luck that her parents were among those that tried to kill Freddy leading to his transformation into living nightmare
While I agree with the top 3 in the order they were presented, Jennifer’s death deserves higher than Debbie’s death. “Welcome to Primetime, Bitch!” is the GREATEST line ever spoken by Freddy. Ultimately, as a MASSIVE fan of this entire franchise, any deaths in 1 & 3 were top 10 qualifiers. Deaths in 5 (except Mark’s) were gruesome, but scary. Deaths in 4 (except Ricks… epic fail) were decent. Deaths in 6 and 2 were subpar
I'm so glad Robert England is gonna be in stranger Things season 4 it's going to be really interesting his a great actor and I love the Freddy krueger films
Nice top, I totally agree with the top 3, the blood geyser, killing puppets and Tina's death on the ceiling. I would have put in the top 10 the yellow coach death at Freddys 2, and he goes into the desert and the hell appears. Maybe also the death in the prision in 1st part... But nice top in any case, well included the overdose and the killing headphones
I've Always Loved Watching A Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise. Coming From A Guy Who Doesn't Like Scary & Horror Movies. One Two Freddie's COMING For You.
The first one, dream warriors and new nightmare are my favorite movies, but the cockroach on the 4th is my favorite. It's a tense scene with a great time loop line and a terrific soundtrack.
I think the moment where Freddy pulls Glen into the bed and then a massive geyser of blood spewing out from the mattress is what haunted me from the film franchise.

Can you also make Top 20 Pinhead Kills?
let's have Freddy fight a Predator, hahahahaha
The video game kills sucks
If I ever find myself in the dream world I'm going to have to face my fears against the likes of Freddy Krueger
the roach scene with debbie haunts me especially cause i have a fear of bugs mainly roaches
When he killed Glen (Johnny Depp) still haunts me
That's the reason why Captain Jack Sparrow doesn't sleep in a bed.
Me too
It was that scene that inspired Freddy's fatality in Mortal Kombat IX.
Glen was a pretty grousum one
Glen was literally the most useless character in the entire movie. I couldn’t even begin to feel sorry for him.
Think Freddy pulling Nancy's mom through the small window in the front door of Nancy's house at the end of the first Nightmare is particularly good!! Love Freddy Krueger! Robert Englund is a horror movie legend!!!!

Thought she was too cute to die that way
I liked Glen’s and Phillip’s deaths the most. There’s something extra creepy to me about a blood volcano and using veins as puppet strings.
For Phillip, those were his tendons
The one that scared and grossed me out most was the roach motel.
My favorites were the TV, tendon puppeteering, overdose, and the water bed.
Agreed completely agree
For me, number one has to be Johnny Depp's geyser of blood. Amazing how they did that without a computer. You don't see effects like that very much anymore.

The dream wizard was an idiot. He runs up to Freddy and gets killed. He could of stayed away from him. Nancy’s death was my opinion the saddest.

You nailed most of these. 1, 2 & 3 especially. The fact that he is a killer w/ a personality is why imo he's the best "Slasher" ever.
Dream warriors puppet kill is the best in the series
Yeah that one was awesome 👏

“Oh My God”
“This, is God.”
That’s my favorite Freddy Krueger line
It's a great line, up there with "welcome to prime time bitch".
Tina actually said "please God", "oh my god" was said in another scene.
Now this is a great idea for a list!

Truly. ABSOLUTELY Kafka-esque !!!
I tend to agree Freddy became less of a monster and more like a comedian as the movies went on. But on the other hand, his kills in the later films truly shows what sick, twisted, sadistic and evil sense of humor Freddy has!
Debbie’s death was the most memorable and traumatized me the most as that was the first scene i watched as a kid in nightmare on elm street saga.
Thanks for documenting my work!
I still like the final kill at the very end of the 2010 remake. Way better than him dragging a blow up doll through a door window in the original.
I agree. It's so terrifying actually. One of the causes why I like the Remake more than the OG NOES.
In the OG it just looked too funny, because you see it isn't a real person. Also what I didn't like in the OG was that everyone survived and it was all just a nightmare in a nightmare.

Top 10 times the hero/protagonist needed to cross the line
Examples:
Kill Ricardo Diaz when Oliver had the chance (Arrow)
Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is my favourite movie of the series, Phillips veiny puppet death and the head smashed in the TV were well done
Roach Motel (Dream Master) is my favorite. I wonder how Debbie actually looked after she was killed....
