That's always something I've thought about in Warcraft, the different accents or dialects spoken throughout the Human kingdoms. Lordaeron always seemed to represent the higher society of British nobility and thus does not pronounce the hard R in most words. Best example would be Arthas' father, King Terenas. However, Arthas, a younger nobility, does not have this accent. Neither does Uther, who is likely just as old as Terenas. It could just be a regional or older generation kind of thing. Elves typically do not pronounce the hard R either.
Fun fact, As soon as i found this video, i actually started game design with 3 of my buddies. I haven't touches game design since college many years ago and you guys inspired me to take that leap again. THANK YOU FOR YOUR AWESOME MUSIC

You have really captured the emotion and power of this song. I can absolutely hear this rendition being played when Arthas is laid to rest after the events of Icecrown. It's beautiful. You've completely encapsulated the tragedy of the character and I can't get enough of it. It makes me fall in love with the story all over again. Thank you so much for this!
