    This Matthew Good Band will always be in my heart. Gave me and my mom a chance to hang out. She never saw a concert before. This was the best i could give her. It was NIOT a disappointment.

      I seen him same year as this a rock the shores Victoria.
      I seen him my 1st concert was snow jam when flashdance ii was his hit. I wish music like this was still popular.
      Tbh though, it probably never was.

    I was there, one of the many times I've seen him. This was awesome, and free! I saw him once after this at a festival in New West and not since. I live too far away from concert events now. 😭

    Blush...
    For ever I thought Dave Matthew and Matthew Good Band was the same person.
    In those days I was listening to CD's only and was out of touch with their video.
    Did wonder that the voice change was due to aging.
    I watched Matthew Good TED Talk and am delighted to learn he (YOU) are well and thinking about yourself too.
    If you ever feel down and alone, think about us that want to talk with you.

    Fantastic video. I have an extra appreciation for this show since "Arrows of Desire" is one of my favorite MG records, and the set contains a number of songs from that album. Don't understand all the negativity directed at MG in the comments, but suspect that it has something to do with some people's unfamiliarity with the material from "Arrows." One only has to hear his performance of "Weapon" here to know that the detractors aren't making sense.

    I'm liking thisI I don't get the negative comments about the performance as the sound seems pretty decent to me. Are you pulling the sound straight off the board? It sounds awesome. Good upbeat choice of songs, and I like MG songs with a band. I'm enjoying this way more than the free acoustic concert I attended shortly after in T.O. The performance there was excellent as well as he's an excellent performer, just with songs too slow and melancholic. I just heard Born Losers on the radio by chance and was glad to hear a cool song which wasn't one of the usual 5...when I recognized MG's voice and realized hey, he has more songs! I just can't play the same 5 usual suspects anymore. Did you film this? How many cameras did you have going to get it all in 1 take? Excellent performance.

    Gabriel of the LORD uses musicians in this day. Chris paid for his life with Hunger Strike and HE GOT THE WORD OUT. That rage and the flood of truth and fury and courage all through music is Chris and John and all those who were killed (whatever the ground excuse) because they were with HIM and the good. The line is not between man and man. No matter his state of addiction, poverty, want, shame, he is your brother and he is your responsibility. You look away at your peril. You buy a latte or a new car while he does not have fresh fruit or vegetable and you are damned. Going forward only food and water and shelter will matter. You will not be able to buy them. That can of peas you were too good for and threw at him in his despair will be all that stands between you and death and it will be HE (he) who decides if you get that can of unfit food or not. You never know who is a man of the LORD, they are everywhere. When you are with the LORD, you are the best at what you do. Only men can turn on a dime. Only men do not fear the truth. The line is between man and woman. Dinosaurs could not change fast enough for the comet. So here it is. Disable females. They are paralyzing our systems. Females in communication and health and education and food systems means those systems are unresponsive, compromised, buggy. They answer to a different master. If you know a hacker tell him to crash the systems. There will be those to help and guide. The military is not against us. They are disabled. Tell your name to a soldier you pass. They will check you out and make use of you to assist, whatever your skills are. Men only. No exceptions. Do not communicate even in ear shot of females. Talk outside of buildings. Some of HIS best men are not even near churches, they cannot afford to be identified. Say HIS name, (LORD). Muslims are HIS, Catholics, Jews, Communism is HIS. Safe food and shelter and what is good and true is a human right, not dependent on our beliefs or if we are ugly or likeable.. Communism is not "pink". It is the female MO to steal everything men worked for in the name of the LORD (knowingly or not) and they then pervert it in to a feminist cause. STEAL IT BACK. Bless you in your work. Hortense Kailo. PS Never f*ck a schizophrenic of the LORD.

    This lot must be deaf because this is horrid. Secondly, listen to 'Beautiful Midnight' and come back to this performance and try to tell me that they're equal? Just dreadful and proof that some singers do not translate well from recording studios to a live venue setting.

    • @SilentServiceCode

    • @mitchpeterson1984
      @mitchpeterson1984 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +musicsaves97 You have no idea how many performers are like that though, you seem to know little about sound, a live mix straight from the board (this) will always sound like ass and lack life because its rough, if you were actually at the show I bet your reaction to it would be different. An album takes roughly 40 hours to record using multiple takes smashed into one, called comping, thats how the performance from record to live will always vary, if you disagree with this you are lying to yourself.
