Sorry for your loss, Bobby. Parents being gone is as much a surreal experience as it is a sad one. And the effects will ebb and flow in waves as the years go by. But it's important never to forget that we carry them inside us all the days of our lives; for as long as we remember them they're never really gone. And I completely understand why you chose the X2D to mark this particular moment in life.
Thank you for sharing your personal story with us. You made some great images! And a perfect integration of the sponsor that makes a lot of sense. Cheers from Belgium
Bobby, got the Leica Q3 43 based on your review, I’m friggin loving it!!!! Thank you for sharing about your Mom, sounds like you were the kind of son any mother would love to have.
I asked you should I get the X2D, you said yes and I got it. I also got the 90V and this lens the 20-35 E, I love them, I love this camera! 😎 Thank You Bobby
Thanks mate, i was aware things went quiet, i followed your video about the hasselblad, especially X2D and the cfv100c, they should talk to you in that regards.. love sharing the photos of the family, and you are so right, i too took photos not for awards, but just my own satisfaction and since the x2d days
@@riswanc thanks. Yeah not sure what happened. They told me to essentially (you are on our creator list but nothing suitable for you to do with us currently). When I ask to review their lenses they go quiet. Oh well…nature of this business.
Hi Bobby. I’m so sorry that your mom has passed away. I hope being with family was a comfort. Thank you for sharing a few photos! Hopefully the folks at Hasselblad will loan you more gear in 2025. 😊 Be well, and thanks for your reviews and commentary.
I guess that I have been a naughty enough this year that Santa is not going to bring it. However, I did get the 75P and that is a gift into itself. Outstanding and I also got an extension ring for the X series and that really works beyond my wildest dreams. So no sugar plums this year but definitely X series lens have replaced them.
@@btonelli No judgment, it just came to my mind when your video popped up, how many Hasselblad videos I saw in recent months compared to...EVER on TH-cam 😉 Even grainydays who only shoots film did an exception for them hehe
@@btonelli I just found out recently that they are owned by DJI. With all the rumors about DJI mirrorless camera I wouldn't be surprised if the DJI mirrorless will turn out as a full frame (or a new more affordable medium format) Hasselblad model

Yeah, I became an orphan this year. I took my Ricoh GRIII. This lens would be a lot more attractive to me if the X2D has in camera perspective correction like my SL2.
Were you able to test the Fujifilm GF 20-35mm? Keen to know the size/weight compared to these two as well as it's performance! Love your work as always Bobby!
Thank you! I’ve tried that lens in the past and it’s also a fantastic lens. I feel this one has better build and slightly faster aperture at 20 but either is a good choice
@@btonelli And all of them are optically better, sharper, brighter, faster and mostly cheaper and Hasselblad hasn't even drawn half of them yet. Don't make me laugh with Hasselblad lenses.
@btonelli lack of lenses is a problem for Hasselblad. So we have the originals, the two "p" then the "v" and now "e". Everything over there is seemingly low effort to make new lenses. I wonder if they sold more than 50 of the TC for the 135

Boy, Hasselblad really is going all in with Camera TH-cam recently. Popping up everywhere.
I had interest in this lens and was told a demo unit would be available from the local distributor so I took the opportunity to review it

It's a great camera, BUT, it's weak system on telephoto prime and zoom lenses. As soon as they come out I'm in!
