Better Instructions (With xInput Support)
1. Hold start while controller is off
2. Plug in the usb
3. After that ur in Dinput mode hold the home button for a few seconds and the light should change if it changes ur in xInput mode
(This is usually on the manual)

Excelente vídeo (SQN), pois jogar via cabo usb é bom para quebrar o conector do cabo onde faz a carga, pois no futuro laceia a entrada, fazendo você mandar para o conserto ou ter que comprar ou controle, onde na verdade o controle foi projetado para usar via bluethoot, e não via cabo. Vai ver o "me salvou" quando a entrada USB quebrar durante o jogo. kkkk. Bom nível de inteligência da parte de vocês...
some controllers like mine uses select button instead of start and it works flawlessly 👍

Hey, I need some help. So i did everything what you said but there is still no connection sound from my pc. Gamepad does glow with 1 light as if it was connected but it seems that my pc can't see it for some reason. I tried this home+X thing but it didn't help. Any ideas why does it happens? Thx.
I have the same model, and thanks to your video i got to the home+x part, further than i ever got before, but the controller is not being fully recognized... it seem i don't have the driver (in Device Manager i get "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed"). Any suggestions?
doesnt it depend on the controller version or does it work with every version? Mine only says that it's for bluetooth tho.

Thanks man It really is getting connected to my Windows 10 PC but the thing is I really can't figure out the (Home+X) button part in my windows calibration part its seeming like the X and the others triggers are not getting my presses If I'm clear in my issues any help with that ?

This one is for ipega 9068 ONLY, other controllers have different ways to CONNECT with a cable or a wireless USB receiver.
for me ,strong independent russian man, it starts in 2nd player mode.
I had to turn off the controller because it didn't work today (using the home button), then start & connect to USB. The first time I had set up Android and IOS and when it came to setting up the Wired Windows connection didn't work. Use the pinhole button in the bottom to reset and start over: that worked for me.
I used your way with new x360ce, but with some old games it doesn't working. Such as the godfather and mafia 1. Did you experience the same things with old games? We have the same ipega btw.
I just got mine and thank you for this! I have a question, I've been trying to get it to work on an android device but the device just sees it as a keyboard, not a gamepad. When I switch to mouse mode, it also doesn't work with analog sticks and only moves the mouse with the buttons. Have you got it to work?

IRRC some ipega controllers if connected via usb have ps3 and x360 modes that is supported natively in windows especially xinput(xbox360mode)? shouldn't you have used that instead? rather than directinput (dinput)

hi i followed video but the problem is my light indicator is on 4 and not one how to move the light to 1 and also when i finished setting up the configuration of my controller i clicked saved i dont believe it saved something as what i have in the folder is the ini, and dll. the program said inorder for it to work i need to close the program and if i do the tmp file disappeared. i copied the files to the directory of the game i want it to use it on little nightmares complete edition. can you try it on that game and tell me if it works and if it does can you tell me how you managed it to work pls

To people that has doesn't have the same controller model as mine (Ipega 9068). I highly reccomend that you do this method at your own risk! Some controllers lose their drivers if they do the same method that I demonstrated. So please, if you lose your driver or if your controller doesn't work, it's not my fault. You didn't researched hard enough.
How about the aim sensitivity is it good as playstation/xbox controller?
You can adjust that I just don't know how. :)

This isn't the Ipega 9087 Red Knight Telescopic Bluetooth Controller (ie the one I own) any idea how to connect mine to my Windows 10 Sagear? I did your video thinking it would be the same but it still won't pick up my controller. I don't want to have to buy a dongle adapter
I'm sorry, but I can't help people that doesn't have the same controller model because some people say that it messes up the controller driver if you do my method but doesn't have the same model that I have

I really recommend not doing this for a different controller because other models break their config files when you do this method. Try researching a bit more to see a way to do USB connection with your controller. I'm sorry I can't help you...

Mine is a 9090 Ipega and I tried to follow along but it wouldn't work everytime I tried.

Wired USB works perfectly on Ipega 9076 but not at all on Ipega 9156. If you have Bluetooth on your PC the 9156 works fine on a PC over Bluetooth. Both 9076 and 9156 have a 2.5GHZ USB dongle and both can be connected to a PC by the USB dongle.
No idea why you would want a wired connection with either. I get no noticeable lag over Bluetooth or the 2.4GHZ dongle. Why would I want to be tied down to a cable?

I don't know. And I do not recommend doing it on other controllers because I have seen other cases that their controller base file is being corrupted by using this method. Please try researching a specific method for your controller. And if you're gonna continue anyway, proceed at your own risk. Other people blame me for making this tutorial so please, don't blame me lmao.

Why it doesn't work in all games? Witcher 3, Doom 2016, Nioh - it just doesn't. I tried with x360ce, without it - the don't recognize it. Actually Doom does, it changes buttons to controller buttons, but controller doesn't work! Please help if you can!
It's because you gotta configure the controls and put the dll files, and also make sure that you extract all of the dll files not just one.
Edit: Also you can disable the another controller if you can, because it also happens to me in Brawlhalla

What I did was I plugged the controller without pressing anything, then pressed home and x. After that I unplugged it and pressed start then plugged it in. Try that. Also do not try this method if you don't have the same controller model, it might break it

Only problem i have really is that the triggers register as buttons instead of axes. They register as Axes on my phone but everytime I try to use them on pc, via bluetooth or wired, they get detected as buttons which makes them bad for using them playing racing games which are the games I want to play.
