But I also can not fully understand her reaction, considering that a Bene Gesserit can stop her heart at will and die without suffering.
what i want to know is why they used house ordos as the third faction, it was mentioned like twice in all 28 books, if they were going with a borg like faction, why not house vernius, the IX.? house vernius (IX) were total machine heads, literally, even Rhombur was litteraly a cyborg with only 10% of his original body still intact.
Emperor Battle for Dune, the last game of the series, had IX and Tlailaxu, Fremen and Sardaukar as secondary faction which you could combine with the house you chose, harkonnen, atreides and ordos, which probably stayed the main houses of the game due to its heritage from the older games.
They worked together in the conspiracy againtst Paul Muad'Dib, and also in the Dune Miniserie Gaius Helen Mohiam and a guild's member were in the same room, talking about their perceptions and how Paul's jihad can be a threat to the natural order and needless to say, especially to the production of melange.
Miklós Szekeres all games made by Westwood Studios were still top tier when under Virgin Entertainment but became complete and total crap and a utter disgrace to the franchises when Electronic Arts became the Emperor of all that once was CnC, RA, and Dune. I pray with the Houses of Ordus and Atreites that this Emperor Worm which Was created be made again and set forth upon the true enemy of all thing Arakis: Electronic Arts USA!!!!

The Giant Worm Emperor almost reminds one of Leto II at the end of God Emperor, only without his face and brains -- and smaller. Or of how the Worms would treat the ghola Leto II in Synchrony at the end of Sandworms of Dune.

If you read a lot of Dune stuff, it's mentioned the Guild wears Gray and I never imagined them in the black body bag uniforms from the games and movies. Or their behavior in the Emperor of Dune. Sure they're conspiratorial and even deadly to some degree, we see that most obviously in Dune Messiah but their behavior here is way to overt, bold considering it's mentioned they are not allowed to participate in any military action and must remain neutral. Also if their was indeed a Succession Crisis in the Imperium, it wouldn't be up the Guild to make the terms of the civil war, it probably be the Landsraad. The guild didn't care who was on the throne long as there was stability for Spice.Hence why they were after Paul in Messiah. Paul and Leto II, even point out that their addiction actually weakens their hand and despite hiding behind mysticism. I really don't remember btw.

The Emperor Corrino is dead with no known successors I'm aware of in the game. The Padishah Imperium is thrown into Chaos The Sardaukar have no Emperor to serve and left Purposeless. The three Great Houses Atriedes, Ordos, and Harkonnen are the only ones with the troops and resources to wage a limited form of warfare on Arakiss known as the "War of Assasins" to put their leaders or in the case of the Ordos puppet leader on the Golden Lion Throne. The Ordos and Harkonnen violated the terms of the Great Convention and began attacking each other before they reached Arakiss while the Atriedes defended themselves and taking the oppurtunity to destroy Harkonnen and Ordos frigates in retaliation so that is a good incentive for the Guild to start Eliminating the Atriedes, Ordos, and Harkonnen and placing their leader the God-Worm.

There was a worm emperor, but he was not a Guild pawn. He was an Atredies that became a worm.
Well the other thing to mention is that in order to completely clear Dune 2000 you did have to kill the worm.
Michael Dorn now works for House Atreides, apparently.
Better he works for the "Noble" Atriedes than the "Insidious" Ordos or the "Evil" Harkonnen.
