Thanks, Chad! I've been trying to figure out something similar for my TC Helicon, Aeros Looper, and Beat Buddy setup with my LT. I think this will help a lot!
Is there any way that you can make another video explaining how you routed everything physically on the boards? I have a helix in an RC 600 and I want utilize one microphone. It would be awesome to have a video walk-through of your cable connection if you just wanted to set up both those units to talk to each other appropriately. Thank you.
Thanks for doing this. I have been wanting to do a setup like this with equipment I already have (Digitech Jam Man, Digitech Vocalist Live 5. Really want to move to a Helix for processing. I stopped playing in public a while back so, it is hard to justify buying more music equipment.
Thanks for sharing this. I've been meaning to set up something I can use with the DigiTech TRIO and get back to using the Boss RC3. I am now officially inspired. I will run through your video a couple of times to get the logic down. I get a little over whelmed by some of the 4 send/return loops sometimes. I have had some fun in the past with the EHX B9 and the Variax - think Green Onions.
All of the routing capabilities of Helix can be a bit much to wrap your head around. I put labels on all of the cable ends marking where they need to be plugged in lol. Once you break it down once piece at a time though it makes mores sense as you go. Glad you're feeling inspired!
@@ChadHuskey There is a guy (Chad Boston) that sells a lot of accessories for helix. I picked up the complete hard cover for the floor unit and a package of color ids for the cables and the jacks. Pretty handy. I think all the I/Os are one of the best features of the helix.
I always appreciate learning more of the ins and outs(very punny) of the awesome Helix 👌 👏 I would have liked to see you put that setup into action. Happy New Year! Gale
Hi Chad, I am running into that midi issue where my RC600 is changing my preset on my Helix. Where is the setting to change this? Is it on the send side from RC600 or receive side on Helix? Is there a clock only setting somewhere? TIA
I hadn't really considered making this preset available for sale as it's very specific to how I'm running my looper and pedals. I didn't know if it would have broad appeal to folks since it's kind of purpose built for my specific use case. But there's no reason I couldn't. I'm still dialing things in and the preset definitely isn't finished yet. I'd need to think of a way to make it have broader applications I think. If you have any specific routing questions I'd be happy to try and answer them. Thx!

It's still a work in progress, but there should be some more performance type videos in the future 😉
