Instead of pot in pot, what would happen if you just used pots sitting on ground ? What is the benefit of keeping the pots below ground level ? And if the pots had to be below ground level, could you not just put it in a trench ? I could not understand the need for a permanently fixed pot in ground. Thanks for replying.
@Pith Helmet ... yes thats 1 reason. biggest benefit seems to be that the pots do not tilt & fall over in wind. the pot makes it instantly sellable without transplant shock. there were a few other benefits that i discovered later but now i forget
