He was the coolest guy in his 70s I've ever came across that man was master manifester. A rough childhood poor guy but it made him loving, tough, resilient and a manifester. Wayne Dyer I am profoundly saddened by the death recently of Dr. Wayne Dyer. As a matter of fact, it affected me far more powerfully than I had imagined it would. You were speaking from a place of help, having infinite hope in all of our souls. You believed in eternity, a part of ourselves which is infinite, which lasts forever. Each one of us is a unique soul which never stops even in death. You were the ultimate dreamer in this infinite non-corporeal world. You were dedicated to finding everyone’s highest self. You were called crazy by many who did not see your brilliance. You said all of man’s miseries stem from an inability to sit in a quiet room alone and listen to one’s own breathing. In this world of reality TV, cellphones, constant adrenalin creating rushes all around us, and so on, you asked us to be quiet and contemplate our own existence. What a radical shift that is. You said the soul and the way it must grow, must never be fenced in, that we must allow this natural growth of one’s purpose and calling. Anyone who attempts to stop this kind of spiritual growth is not a true friend. You constantly championed forming a union with one’s highest self. You taught us that we attract what we are and what we strive for. When we search earnestly to grow in a certain direction, a teacher can appear. This is the idea of manifesting, making your true self appear day by day by letting go and letting God. You taught us to pursue this true self of the soul through artistic endeavor, music, painting, dancing. Don’t wait until tomorrow to pursue your greatest dreams. Do it now and don’t wait. Write that song, paint that picture, give that inspirational speech, know the power of your own soul and make it happen now, not later. Don’t wait. I love the Kurt Vonnegut quote…something he wrote a couple of years before his death… “To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.” Some people don’t believe in a soul, but I know intuitively that it is true. Each one of us has infinitely meaning, yet physically we are infinitely small in the universe. When we are in touch with this, we are more and more assured that the soul is who were are but has no attachment to anything physical, cannot be scientifically measured in any way and has no attachment to the ego. Flowers and trees do not have an ego, they just grow towards the sun. God gives us an abundance that constantly surrounds us. Hafiz once said, "Even after all this time, The sun never says to the earth, ‘You owe Me.’” Look what happens with a love like that, It lights the Whole Sky." You also said to stay close to sounds which make us feel totally alive. Wayne also taught through his talks that silence can be the most spiritual, many times in the form of a purposeful morning meditation or yoga. Every morning we should give thanks for this heaven called Earth we are given. That’s what you taught. You deeply understood that love is creation’s greatest joy. You also preached about the concept of “I am” The “I am” power is the healing power of the universe. It’s the force from which the universe is made. It’s a profound feeling in the heart or as great wisdom. It can be found through meditation or/or quiet contemplation. One of the ways we can manifest this divine love, which you always emphasized, is through the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi: Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. No matter what you said that sounded very crazy, you were still a flame of hope and love for me and my life. You bravely went where man was afraid to go. As a young man, you were sort of a bad boy, growing up in several orphanages, involved in petty crime, etc. and challenging authority. Your life, however, gives me great hope that someone can start out this and make a dramatic spiritual comeback.
