I kinda agree. Every one of these politicians on the left and right are vying for air time to attack panelists but they in actuality also did nothing when it mattered most. They largely stood silent and praised experts for months during and after the pandemic despite glaring flaws in policy and application of policy. They supported or at least did not substantively oppose the violation of our rights when it mattered most. I find them all to be slimy opportunistic politicians

Using your analogy, if the weatherman created a massive worldwide hurricane that killed thousands, and if that same guy told everyone to not use sandbags to protect their home from flooding, and then a month later told everybody that if they didn't use sandbags they could be arrested, and then came up with the solution that if everybody stopped using water in their homes, the flooding would go down and if you don't stop using the water you can get arrested and lose your job.......... And then it comes out that not using water in your homes didn't help at all, and then we find out this guy created the shit storm in a lab....Yeah, that weatherman deserves to be in prison
