so far my biggest pull is the same Illustration rare Iron Treads ex from the vid!! i’ve also gotten the full art Spidops ex, normal iron treads ex, the normal Koraidon ex, and the Terastalized Gyarados ex!! as well as that, i have the ETB miraidon illustration rare and got a japanese Pawmot illustrator rare as a gift :)
While I hear your complaints about the new form of the ex, I feel these exs are intentionally "dull" to make them easy to differentiate from fullarts and more importantly alternate arts.They still look infinitely better than GXs, and aren't confused for fullarts like GXs and Vs where at some points in the past. I like that they function like the older ex but look like the B&W and XY EX, which I will defend until the day I die.
It will not take long for a Charizard ex to appear :) Later this year there will be a "151" set featuring the original 151 Pokémon. It contains for example ex variants of the 3 starters. So yeah... If there's a fullart or something crazier, it will be really expensive

I love this set as a collector. One of my absolute favorite things that no one seems to talk about is how much easier master sets are just because you get 2 reverse holos instead of 1, agh im loving this era
I was soo excited for this upload! This is by far me favorite Pokémon channel, and I really love this set! This is the first time I feel like I've really dived into a set and the community, and it's been a whole lotta fun. I like pretty much everything about this set, even the standard ex cards (although only for pure Black and White and X and Y nostalgia). It's just been a very fun ride, and I can't wait for more sets and videos to release!
Damn you for making me want to get back into collecting Pokémon cards. I have been avoiding them for 4 years now, but I feel a very strong urge to collect again.
I feel like the card that has a chance to be the full art,ex, special illustration, whatever being in front of the gauranteed holo kinda kills the hype of those cards. You pull the super hype card and then boom gauranteed holo. It's not even the fact that it's a gauranteed holo, it's the fact that you go from this super cool card to a holo. For Yugioh it'd be like if a starlight or ghost rare was in front of a super or ultra rare. Yeah super and ultra is cool but starlight and Ghost are so much cooler, it brings you down some from the high that really cool card got you to and ends the pack on lower point then if the chance for higher rarity was the final card of the pack. I feel like there should still be a pack trick despite "pokemon doing the work for us" take off the code and energy of course like always but then swap the back two cards. So it goes the reverse, holo, then the reverse that has a chance to be more hype. I get if it's still a reverse it's not a hype ending but neither is a gauranteed standard holo when it's gauranteed after the first few packs but if it's one of the more special cards you are left off more hyped.
ive opened a BUNCH of scarlet and violet so far but i had to stop cause work was slowing with my exams ramping up and i needed to save money lmao (also my first two packs on like the day after release day i got a gold secret rare or whatever nest ball and then an alternate art or whatever kirlia and i didnt know the new order or rates or whatever so it was WILD) also i got a like booster box (the 6 pack one idr the name rn) and decided to mega-pack it for fun lmao
I have 3 things to say: 1. Amazing video! 2. I can't wait for the terrastielize (I forgor hoe to spell it) cards and paradox cards. 3. Some cards look like the Pokemon is trying to escape which is really cool!
It's interesting the point you make about how good the pull rates are because, unless I've been very unlucky, I've noticed the exact opposite. I'm hoping my luck turns around for Paldea Evolved because there are some art rares in there that I absolutely NEED to pull and I don't want to go broke.
The Scarlet and Violet/ Paldea era isn't for me really, but feels like it's more the next generation of Pokemon for the youth/kids... for (more or less) kids who are ages 6-13. This is their First Generation type Pokemon that they will grow up on, and remember back when they are 25-35 and say: those were the Pokemon of my generation.
Scarlet and violet is the first set im trying to fully collect (tho not secret rares coz God No. Tho the pull rates for those seem mildly ridiculous lol) and some of the cards are Gorgeous. Not to mention, the two Yuka Morii cards are definitely some of my favourites. In my experience, i have yet to pull a single oinkologne card but I’ve pulled a full play set of Iron Treads ex cards despite only opening a couple ETBs
I’ve been focused on shining fates( as I can FINALLY find the series consistently 😂) and actually got the gmax charizard! Hence needing sleeves/covers like those at the beginning of the video
Was Crown Zenith one of the packs that stores were weighing the separate packs of to make sure people keep buying the packs that don't have rare cards in them
people def do weigh CZ.... so just make sure to avoid buying anything that isn't sealed... this is why once CZ is gone, the value for sealed will go up cause CZ has tons of great cards
Wugtrio Has rock underneath it there was a glitch in scarlet and violet where when you can see under the floor texture you can actually see this Pokémon’s underside and it’s just a bunch of rock pointing downward

I love the way it is and I hope it never changes. Players have an easier time and don't have to give up multiplr livers to get a deck and collector's still get something to care about and children have a better time opening and collecting these cards
I hope that they fix the foil and look of the ex cards because I’ve been wanting B&W/X&Y style EX’s back for like 7 years, I can definitely look past it because I just love the design so much but definitely do hope they fix the cheap look of the cards
4:51 really? They look more like original ex cards than BW/XY cards to me. It's like a modern polished version where the "ex" is closer to the og ex and it's not as flashy as the BW/XY era EXes, kinda just looks more like the old school exes imo.
Another change other than holos, different reverses, ex, silver boarders, ect. they removed Dragon type cards, kinda like in Gen 8 where they removed Fairy
So far I’ve opened 1 booster box, 1 ETB, 1 build and battle stadium, 2 3-pack blisters and 1 individual pack and I pulled the special illustration rare for the miraidon and miriam, 2 gold cards, 5 full arts and a bunch of exs and illustrator rares
I'm just angry that they changed the codes to only work with live. I only play on the other version and am NOT going to be transferring my data to pokemon live.

I really dont like the silver borders. The yellow ones are just what im used to. It also clashes with the other cards i have. I'm trying to make a pokedex with cards and it looks so weird with both yellow and silver borders.
