I like how he emphasises that Bayern isn´t particular bad this season, but Leverkusen is just off-the-charts-good.
They are absolutly outstanding and deserve all the praise.They are simply playing the best season in the history of football. That being said Bayern looks very strong at the moment, they overcame the little crisis they´ve been in for about a month and are very well in the title race for the CL, which they prio this season.
Also, Alphonso isn´t worth 20 mio a year, he has been struggeleing since 2021 and I think Bayern won´t be sad if he leaves for 60 mio.
In fact, most fans would be happy with that, "Bring in a real defender instead" has been the bottom-line during the last couple of weeks since this drama first started ...
Bayern have been very bad this season, yes result wise they were doing ok. But in terms of the way they played it was aweful. The month you referring to was when they performed bad AND had bad results. Just now we see the true face of their capabilities, hopefully in time for the CL
Davies is great, but for 20 million we expect a bit more consistency.
They had very good and very bad games this Saison. So it's fair to say that the fcb wasn't particularly good this Saison
@@Zaubernudel No they had a lot of lackluster games. They didnt play super bad but like a bunch of world class players without a plan. So they still won. But it wasnt until much later into the season that they had some really good games, e.g. vs stuttgart. Just for Tuchel to bottle it again vs Leverkusen by changing the whole gameplan upside down.
Only within the last 3 games they started to play like a real team.
@@Zaubernudel In the first half they only lost two games and drew 2, the loss was against Frankfurt and the freak game against the 3rd tier club^^
It was the very bad spell of games in february that paints this dire picture and they have moved past that and played the best football all season these last few weeks.
So ye it wasnt a perfect or even very good season so far, but at least "good" and if they can keep up this pace they are a real threat to anyone in the CL.
And a win in the CL would turn the season on its head ;)
Mendy has his attacking problem an few injuries but defensively with wingers who don't always track back ill keep mendy or a better defensive mind LB than Davies

Davies agent must act fast and need to sort this out. It's a Yes or No, though i advised him to ask FC Bayern to sell now Davies at 40 million euros and negotiate with real madrid.
