in irl you have much better understanding what car is doing,and also experts do perfect setup to suite track and your driving style,so its easier to drive fast,but yea that time is hella fast
I do not suppose I chose the wrong career path for myself :D Even with a lot of practise and better setups, I do not suppose I could ever get past the 1:25 min barrier (1 sec faster than my AC time).
I've recently started taking sim racing seriously, watching this now makes me respect the lap time that much more. I'm currently working on sub 1:28 in ACC. This lap time seems almost unreachable right now
Doing any better? I just started sim racing too, I got down to a 1:25:00 in a few hours hotlapping in the 488 but can't reach into the 1:24s yet. Once youve got as far as you can by learning the track your actual driving skill makes up those last couple of seconds and thats so much harder 😔
@@cynicalpenguin im 1:26.7** , its hard to get any better than this for me. but i guess after lots of practice a person can improve, and watching pro drivers go like this . on laguna seca i couldnt go under 1.26 at all. but after analysing lines and shifts i got to 1.22
@@slavkogojkovic1551 Nice man, watching pro drivers is the way to go. I haven't driven Laguna Seca yet in ACC. As for Brands Hatch, I was right about that extra 2 seconds: 6 months later and the best time I've managed is about a 1:24:7, not driven the 488 since then though, so maybe I should try it again and see how I do. A lot more consistent than I was though 👍 did a 1 hour league race at BH and only spun once 😄
Like I always say --- Bortolotti was definitely directly transferred into a Lamborghini after being out of his mom's womb and has been part of Lamborghini chassis ever since. Bortolotti and Lamborghini literally are one

I just realized how cool it is to be able to learn from real pilots when you do simracing. So much footage and knowledge out there. I managed to crush my times in Rally Monte Carlo just by watching the real rally the other day.

It's just crazy how accurate the braking, steering and accelerating points are compared with GT Sport. I tried using my own references from there here and all of them where the same on this fast lap
I’m new to sim racing (got my first wheel and pedals last week, I’ve been practicing in GT Sport with controller only for 4yrs) I went into Brands Hatch blind and am learning the track in a Bentley GT3 with ABS off and TC: 3, really trying to get a feel for the dimensions of the car and subtleties of the track. Holy FUCK is it a wild track!!! It’s quite formidable for it’s length. I was pretty happy with my current best of 1:35 but good god, a 1:22!?!? 🤯🤯🤯 Mirko is an unbelievably talented driver.
@@dispatchcenter1241 Finding the point of lockup then dialing back from there lets me find the actual limit of the car/ myself. I'm much quicker than I was 9 months ago.
Now I feel like a slow driver in Assetto Corsa :D

there are still lots of parameters left to emulate in a sim, but one, we will reach perfection =)

my best lap time in ACC was from 1:28:00 to now 1:25:5 so far after more than 100 laps practice. less than 1:23 is absolutely epic

Why no ABS? Makes no sense to me. Lots of time lost with no ABS.

amazing but with TC and ABS it takes whole lotta fun out of racing... not to mention sequential gearbox
