I am thinking about moving to Israel with my fiancé but I am scared. Scared about the language, the people, the neverending war, bombs etc and I don't know how I can move in and find a flat etc before I'm coming 🙁
From a Pagan sister, thank you! I absolutely adore the love and acceptance in the comments. Your video was very well done and informational. ❤ Blessings.
I’ve just started covering and was having a problem hiding the ends and tails of the scarves. I never thought of folding it like a trifold and tucking the tails on top! Thank you for making my life easier!
Thank you! You showed here three of the Wrapunzel scarves I've been looking lately and pondering which color to get. Seeing them here in action made the world of difference, because the motion and lighting brings out the tones, textures and sheen like no photo can!
So much of going beyond the real basics is in the details. I'm glad this video is available (and glad it has PAUSE) to learn how to be attentive to what I'm doing with the scarf, total mindfulness. Thank you and peace be with your spirit.
Hello from Manchester, England!!! I have literally just started wrapping my hair (the temperature is skyrocketing, my hair is excessively thick and I don't feel comfortable in hats, like at all) and all of these have inspired me/given me ideas for how to wrap my hair up, out of the way, off my face. Thanks for this video
Hello from another Mancunian! ^•^ How's your head wrapping journey been? I've been thinking about this for quite some time now (like, years) but I'm still yet to take the plunge...
Oh Rachel, you are like Andrea. Both of you could put a flour sack on your head and look stunning. Thanks for all your work here with these tutorials. Very, Very Helpful! Chag same'ach! It's NYEve and I'm watching you wrap. Things could be worse, believe you me.
Newbie to wrap/turbans...always wanted to learn but thought I shouldn't wear them. My best friend found out she has cancer and lost all her hair. She wanted to wear scarves but is picky. We watched this video together during chemo and we are going to be practicing together!! Thank you for this amazing video!!!
Amasing! What a pro! I am looking for ideas on how to wear a pashmina without the same boring wrap around but one that can cover the neck and bosom as well as in the back.
Shalom from The Netherlands! I’ve always loved wearing scarves and hats early on in my later teens! And now in this time of pandemic and lockdowns, I’ve decided to let my silver regrowths grow out... so I’ve again considered wearing a head wrap lots of different ways and especially in the ways you do so am a new subscriber. Thank you so much for the shared! They are all so beautiful, with love and appreciation, 🌷🌿🌷👳🏽💖
I’ve worn scarves of one sort or another for over sixty years and I wish I’d known about no slip headbands sixty years ago. That’s often been an annoying problem, that of scarves slipping. Thank you so much! And thanks for the rest.
Next level headwrapping. It looks really classy and those pashminas are gorgeous. I can't get used to my face with a wrap on though, i think i look a bit silly in one, but other people don't, so i dunno.
Absolute beauty in all of the styles! And I have to say from what we see and hear of/from you I think you'd be one awesome lady to hang out with. I need your style influence in my life! Your fashion and color choices and tichel pairings are just fabulous! Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for the tips! I remember when I fisrt started to use pashminas (which are my favorite wraps) and I suffered so much from headaches because I use to tie them reaaaaally tight so they would not fall. Amazingly I survived 5 years this way lol (I just recently discovered the magic of bandanas ;) :D BTW, very good tutorials! Beautiful wraps! Going to try a couple for succot!!
Thanks, Hannah! Yeah, it seems like we all made that mistake in the beginning.. Wearing the proper "undergarments" underneath a pashmina can be a lifesaver!
I love all these styles on you Rachel. I'm a total newbie & looking to order a velvet headband & shaper but I don't know which shaper to go for. Which one is the best all rounder/ beginner shaper please?
Loved all the ways you wrapped!, I'm a newbie to wrapping my hair but sometimes I'm all thumbs! I'd love if for your next videos you can turn around to show us the back side as you are either knotting or twisting, I will try one of your looks for tonight's Synagogue service then to our first meal in the Sukkah! wish me luck! Oh, another question, I am considering cutting my hair short, I do have the Wrapunzel volumizer will it still work when I cut my hair short? Hag Sameach! Talia
Your volumizer will work wonderfully if you decide to go short. I used mine the whole of Spring and Summer with short hair. It is so easy, no tying your hair up and no extra bulk ;) Growing mine back out again now...and having a little bit of a challenge in hair tucking. :) Mazal tov.
We've actually had quite a few requests for tutorials showing how to wrap from behind, so will definitely add that to our "to-do" list! As for the shaper- yes, they work wonderfully with short hair! We even know of many ladies with no hair who use them with great success. :) Because many wraps need a bit of volume to anchor the style and prevent the tails from slipping off the back, wearing a shaper underneath can be a total game changer!
WOWZA! This was an awesome video! I love how each tutorial was so easy to follow; and those pashminas! Looks like I'll be taking a quick inventory at home tonight so I can place an order...lol Thank you for the time and effort put into this video; it is top notch!
This tutorial reminds me of the hair style ones. Except for the fact that a single person can actually do these unassisted and you make it look so easy, I'm having visions of me trying them and ending up in a pool of years just like the hair ones. lol.
The ultimate Rapunzel turban worked for me (my first try) meaning I think I look good... and my skarf was just barely long enough though certainly a couple feet shorter than a pashmina
Hi, Sam! Rachel actually has very short hair under her shaper, but for wrappers with longer hair, we recommend tying the hair into a bun. You can position the bun lower or higher depending on your preference! See this video for more information on how to achieve different looks underneath the wrap! th-cam.com/video/SlnOfvhfgk4/w-d-xo.html
Probably it depends. If you can make a bun or ponytail, you can clip on a shaper and achieve the same look. Or if you can pin something on or stuff the back of the scarf above the back knot that could work. Otherwise, you'll just have the same ones but closer to the head and less elongated at the back. You could look into some Black women's styles of hair-wrapping too, since they more commonly have shorter hair under the wrap and so might have some ideas for styles specifically to work with short hair!
Wow ..hi how do I get the wrapupuzel .......please tell where I could get it to buy ....am living Trinidad and Tobago ...please l..inform me please ....I really love and appreciate your style...
People have been sending me horrible vibes looking at me ugly.. I try not to go outside but I was told I need to cover my crown when I’m out. I just feel like things that look great on others will look dumb on me :/ great video! You are stunning
I love the fact that you wear a headscarf and still have a piercing. Mad mad respect to you. Love from a Jew from the promised land

These are beautiful. I will lose all my hair because of chemo and this helps me think how to do hair wraps. Thank you ❤
Hey, I found this channel while I'm searching for a head scarf tutorial to cover my bald head after tumor surgery. So I will pray for you, too, Sis
Incredibly beautiful: both Rachel and the wrapping.
Thank you! You showed here three of the Wrapunzel scarves I've been looking lately and pondering which color to get. Seeing them here in action made the world of difference, because the motion and lighting brings out the tones, textures and sheen like no photo can!
So glad it was helpful for you, Mirja!

From a Muslim sister, thanks for this! I am so inspired
You're so very welcome!
from a Jewish sister, love it
worldp3ac3 it's not proper hijab the Quran says the cover should go down to the chest ie the neck should be covered.
@@user-ht9ug4zv6v you're right sister. 😊 Whoever wants to wear hijab in an Islamic way,In Sha Allah will,if they are shown properly 😊
@@user-ht9ug4zv6v you could wear that and still be able to cover your neck if you know how to be creative instead of judgemental.
They are ALL super beautiful but number 4 (the ultimate wrapunzel turban) is my favorite 😍😍😍
Agreed!! Xoxo
And four years later, hello from Germany from a Russian-Jewish sister ☺️ Thank you so much for these beautiful styles 🤍💙

Are there additions one can buy to form when one does not have long hair to create a formation under the scarf? If so, where do you buy them?
What size do these pashmina's measure? Mine always seem to short. Can't tuck it in on the other side...
Que arte!! Me encanta 😍

I must have a bigger than average head because I tried the one with cranberry & it just isn't long enough to go around & tuck like you did! ..
