Wow, you got a better price then I did. David charged me $300 for the 16Tb OMEGA Data Drive that I ordered on the 6th of March. The other 2 drives were the same price.
Maybe give David a call and price match?

Is there a way to put parental controls on these?
Love the video! Just made the jump. Loving the new set and whatnot but struggling to get my Xbox controller to work on the “request” games. Tried to use it plugged in a Bluetooth. Any idea where to go for help with that setup?
You should be able to press the sync button on your Microsoft receiver and then the button on the controller to sync them together. You should rarely have to do this. The controller, when turned on BEFORE launching a game, should work just fine.
@@Scantron5k thanks for the note. I was trying with Bluetooth to the pc not a receiver so that may be the issue. But all that is for nothing now. After two games I’ve got a corrupt file error so I’m dead until I figure out how to fix that.

Could really use help setting this up. I have the poster app via mini pc. I have it up and running with plex plugin at priority 1, but nothing changes when I play movies on plex
Scantron- quick question- is the stuff you show that was put back on the wheel like the movies and jukebox stuff and games before the 14:24 mark on the 16TB updated Omega drive? and then the majority of the stuff you show after with the customer requests the additional USB 8TB drive I guess? Thanks! I'd like a future video of just the 8TB drive and games too

oh man this video has some great content snd I still haven't upgraded to an Omega drive yet- glad they added the movies back and music content to the jukebox as well- I'm super paranoid about upgrading and having my controls all work properly after for my pedestal machine from EHA but I think its time for me to at least get the 16TB drive with the 2TB one, don't know if I need the USB one for now but I'll be interested in seeing all that was added from the arcade- did they add Terminator Salvation yet?
I'll check this whole video out too- really great stuff! they need to do a list of all the newer arcade games added - did they add many more PS3 games to the wheel? Thanks for doing this video!
Hey man, if you haven't upgraded to Omega yet, you're definitely missing out. And Yeah, Terminator Salvation has been out for a while. It's definitely on there! Keep in mind, it's patreon only (for now) so you do have to pay $5 per month to be a patreon.

Hey Scan... You always seem to find the most awesome games to play in the MegaCade Ocean of games! :) How do you save a game to "Favorites" once you find a game you like?
Thanks broham. When hovering over a game in the wheel, hit your P1 coin button and it will bring up a menu. Use joystick to select favorite and hit start. It'll favorite the game (if you're using Big Box).

Hey Scan.... I also meant to ask you.... What do you think is the best solution for gaming with headphones/ear buds to keep the V's down when others are in the room, watching T.V., etc....? Obviously, there's times it's nice to crank it through the regular speakers, other times headphones are the way to go around here. Is there a way to Bluetooth the MegaCade or is it strictly a plug-in situation on the front volume knob? Thanks, Man....
@@KingBobCat hey man, I honestly never use headphones, but I'd probably just plug into the volume control if I had to. However, I have heard of other people using Bluetooth. Maybe check the owner's unite group on Facebook and search through the posts to see what others have done.

Hey Scan! Just wondering your opinion about the need for the Tron stick or the mini-flightstick on one of these beasts? Are there really that many games that would benefit from having one? How about having a Stream Deck built into the panel for those programable buttons? Looks cool, but are they needed/practical? Love your videos & appreciate your opinion, Man!
Hey man, I can tell you that almost everybody I know that has ever put a Tron stick on their machine has basically said they barely use it. That's not to say that there aren't plenty of people who do use it and enjoy that feature. Also, the Steam deck is completely up to you. It really all depends on how many Steam games you play, etc. If you're asking for MY opinion, I wouldn't add either one of them. And I haven't lol.

@@Scantron5k Hey Scan. Mind of I ask you another question? Another TH-camr said that he thinks the regular, plain joysticks are much better than the LED ones as far as responsiveness, etc.... I see the Megacade offers RGB buttons etc... Do you have an opinion on those setups too? Thanks, Man!
@@KingBobCat hey man, I prefer the standard bat style joysticks. Not a big LED joystick fan.
Hey Tron! You said before there was an attract mode, do you know how to turn it off?
Yo, it's in the omega settings when you hold P1 start and tap P2 start when in the main wheel. You should find options in there to disable.

Hey Scantron I already have the 16tb omega drive in my machine if I get the 8tb addition will it give me a whole new wheel or will it be separate? and is it plug and play automatic detection? Thanks
It will give you a whole new wheel. As far as plug-and-play, I cannot answer that question because every machine is different. However, it did plug right in and work from the get-go on my machine.

Where did you get your game controller hooks on the from of your multicade?

Just got my cabinet today, kicked me off a couple games. If I walk away from it for 5 minutes and come back it’s on a different wheel, now when I start up big box it just goes to a black screen, just wondering if anyone else is having these problems
It has an "attract" mode that can be turned off so that it won't jump around in the wheel. Not sure why you have a black screen. Is it just on the startup? If so, move the joystick or press a button and it should cut the "black" intro short and end up in the main wheel.
@@Scantron5k ya just on start up, I turn it on and it boots up after the opening movie ends it goes to a black screen, I’ll try reading more of the guide, thanks for replying

Yes. There is a PS3 emulator on this machine. However, everything on the expansion drive reviewed in this video is going to be a PC game.
What the 2tb boot ssd have on it?
The 2TB SSD boot drive is getting to be required because we have added so many videos themes and new games to the system that even the base boot drive is getting full
