hello sir, i have 1 doubt you are not considered floor finish dead load, and i have 1 doubt etabs will calculate self weight of concrete automatic, you added extra for columns, beams, slab

Why you should not pass the members in Design to which is size is capable to take load or withstand in given load case. After Designing can we need to pass the members for provided section sizes ?

You have assigned load multiplier 1 for dead load. Then why you're assigning loads for beam, column, slab manually? software will generate dead loads for members itself according to member sizes and density. What do you think?
Yes it is absolutely right, in etabs we don't need to add any self wt. of structural members it will be automatically calculated and considered by software. We just need to add superimposed load like wall load on beam and floor finishing load on slab.

I am doing a comparative study of 50+ storey structure with viscous fluid damper in Etabs. So I need to get how these parameters which is to be entered while selecting damper properties in Etabs? Also i want to know how can we find number of dampers required in a building?

Hello sir, why didn't we took factored load while assigning loadings.
Does ETABS calculate factored load directly? Or do we have to take factored load in consideration as well while assigning loading values.
While assigning columns, u had assigned all at its CG ..! Actually it's not like that na..if columns will be flushed at any of face then it shall not be at CG location, while assigning..as it will give different results in modal mass participation..due to change in CG & CR. I guess shall be location with offset command. Pls comment

On my design I have 250*450mm columns I want to snap at only 100mm so they align with exterior wall edge, how do I sort this out with going again the software
Standard sizes of columns followed are like 200x350 200x450 200x600 etc.
Please refer IS 13920 for minimum column sizes

For bottom storey there will be no slab I think and what about wall load? One more thing after analysing the structure how we can confirm that our structure is safe ? Etabs calculate dead load or structure load itself i think .. for slab we need to add if floor finish is done and water tank load if its.

you have kept self weight multiplier as 1 for the dead load case. this means that the software will automatically calculate the dead loads of bems and columns. then why are you again applying dead loads?

You must select Rebar instead of Steel, because its not a steel structure but RCC structure
