I have a 1968 (F) CD175 in the same Neptune blue colour which I bought off an old guy for £1000. With only 8000 miles on the odometer it is in super condition and very reliable. This is another winner from Honda.
Had one exactly the same as this except mine was F reg. 1968. This was is 1975. I thrashed it to within an inch of its life and it never complained. Bought it for £25 and sold it for £35. The CB175 had twin carbs and Mega phone exhausts and had a traditional tube frame, happy days.🙂
Nice bike, and a very popular model (new) back in my day, ....... and the engines are nigh indestructable. FWIW that Honda is showing every symptom of needing a new battery (not just a recharge) ............I don't know why, but of the smaller Hondas of that era, a new battery cured no end of problems, .many you'd thing were battery related.
Is this missing a startermotor ? reason i ask is because of the redundant ? protrusion on the left side of engine, I have had a CB 175, and have restored a honda CB125 K3 , with starter motors ,also if the CB160 had starter motor. NOT being critical , friendly question.

Looks rather nice but sounds terrible, these bikes should be near on silent at idle. The one I had between 1968 and 1971 certainly was !

Was known as the T Bone frame model & engine similar to the CB160 twin carb.
Loved mine, was an e ball tho, grey tank and slightly smaller in higt than red or blue honda cd ? cb had a yellowish multicouldered tank ?
I had no rev counter required rev to valves bounced and change up
Bulletproof what made Hondas name for Bulletproof not lost till CX500 FAILURE..
