Typed recipe for myself but thought I'd share Boil 30g SDT to rehydrate. In a cup create a flax egg (1tbs flax, 3 tbs water). Dice and saute 2 cloves garlic and 1 small red onion in a medium pan. Add 2 TBS soy sauce or tamari and a pack of chopped mushrooms. Combine sauteed veggies in bowl with a tin of kidney beans, 100g bread crumbs, 1 tbs nooch, flax egg, chopped parsley, and chopped SDT. Hand mash to form beanballs and fry in pan.
Ive been a meat eater 28 years, always thought the vegan life was boring food wise. Just shows how under educated the people of today are. I watched a documentry after documentry, then last night i watched a documentry on netflix called what the health, it really got me thinking. After watching a few of ur videos i now know the food is not boring. Thanks to you 2 im ready to change, also its not just my life you will be changing its my 2 children, 3 and 6 years old and for that i cant thank you 2 enougth
The more I watch your videos the more Vegan foods I end up eating and researching. Great job guys, you have got my attention. Little by little I have been reducing the meat content of my diet down to a small percentage of what it used to be and down to eggs, fish and chicken for the most part. Baby steps

No need to go full vegan. I also eat less meat nowadays and more veggies and fruits but I can't resist a good old BBQ.
If you get a chance, check out Dr. Mercola's website. The latest research, done over 6 years, shows that the vegan diet is the least researched diet. It was created in the 1940's and has NEVER been undertaken by a significant portion of any people or tribe, in the history of humanity. The main point is that the vegan diet is NOT GOOD over a long term basis. Plus, it still involves the killing of animals, which is inescapable
Nice one lads, alternatively, you could put all those ingredients in a food processor, with a lot more beans, and a half cup of wheat gluten form into balls or sausage wrap in tin foil and steam them for half an hour, makes a more chewy 'meaty' texture, then chill or freeze for whenever you need a quick sub.
I think these twins are fun. The brother in the grey top is a real chatterbox and the brother in the green keeps things together with his quiet calmness. They compliment each other. Thanks for the video.
not a failure at all! this was beautiful, as usual you two. You could also just leave it like a crumble, submerge it in the sauce and add it to the sub! Can't wait to try!
Gonna have to make this at the weekend, my boyfriend LOVES meatballs (vegan of course haha) I made your falafels in my most recent vlog! They're so yum!
came across y'all video yesterday & decided to recreate the meatballs & it was a hit in my house. used a mushroom blend (variety of mushrooms) add cayenne pepper for some kick & Korean barbecue sauce poured on top😋 was delicious...
I JUST MADE THIS AND SENT TO YOUR SNAPCHAT (ouioui_cherie) I AM NOT VEGAN BUT EAT PLANTBASED AND I AM SO EXCITED IT TASTES JUST LIKE MEAT AND I AM SO HAPPY AND JUST HAVE TO SHARE THANKYOU!!!!!! i literally bought the ingredients after watching the vid, prepped the ingredients and cooked whilst re watching the vid. words cannot describe how happy i am
Definitely need to buy your book if this recipe is in it. Will have to substitute mushrooms for something else as I'm only allowed a small amount occasionally.
You guys didn't manage to make the sub in 5 mins but i definitely wouldn't call it a failure! I don't think I could make that in 30 mins haha! Looked so tasty and nutritious:) Definitely keen to try this one out! Thanks for the awesome recipe guys!
great recipe, as usual guys, i love watching your videos although i wonder if there is a need to use the sweetener in (almost) every dish you make (even if it's a humble chilli or something alike)? For me that's just kind of unnecessary, adding additional "sugar" withouth any benefits to a perfectly good recipe, or have i missed something? ☺ keep up the good work guys, you're an inspiration and looking forward to your next video! ☺
Took me 50 minutes, but I'm a very slow cooker... Regardless it was delicious. It's the 2nd video I watch from you and the 2nd dish you inspire me to cook. I've been vegan for almost 8 years and I'm only now starting to try interesting recipes, I wish I had gotten into it earlier. Quick question, did you both become vegan together? I have a twin as well who won't give up animal products and I'm wondering what to do to get him inspired...
I love these series! I always want to try these immediately but I never have all the ingredients at once haha keep up these videos! Maybe some 5 min desert next🌚?
everytime I watch this happy Pare I think seriously about moving to Ireland up the street from the happy pear restaurant so I can eat there every day of my life.
Great vid...I'm making veggie meatballs this weekend.!! Perfect timing. Adding beans def will help give them substance. Thanks. Another epic (as u say) video!!
Hey guys, I love your videos! I dont suppose theres a way to a get a list of the essential spices etc that you guys have in the kitchen? Trying to get more into home cooking but im not sure which ones I should be getting. Thanks guys!
I tried this recipe (changed a little bit since I don't have any alternative for eggs) and it was great!!!!! I used Barilla sauce instead of making one but it was yummy! I gotta say, this recipe was fulfilling like meat!
I love your recipes. They make me want to eat vegan more often. Though it is not fair that you have a headstart in finishing the recipe so fast by being able to chop the vegetables that fast, haha.
Yo dudes! Thanks for the awesome video. I added a tsp of vegan Worcestershire and plopped these beauties on top of my spaghetti squash with your tomato sauce. Heavenly.
twin action! haha, meatballs look scrumptious! I bought the tomato pesto from the HP shop when I visited Greystones/Ireland last summer. it's to die for! a little goes a loooong way!!!
I didn't catch the brown liquid that he added at 2:51 . He had to re-open the lid to pour in a small stream. It wasn't syrup, it was thinner. Can someone please tell me?
Typed recipe for myself but thought I'd share

WOOOHOO! SPEED VEGANS!
I might slow this down in my kitchen to keep all fingertips attached and un-burnt ;-)
Someone's going to catch on fire.
It would make my nerves bad, cooking this fast!
You are two people,
So it’s actually 10 mins! 😜. I love your recipes. Thanks for sharing you passion and talent with the world.

Well done!
exactly.
just focus on where the stuff you buy comes from. for me, a good chicken (and anything thats made from it) is simply not replaceable :D

Their stove makes me nervous
Simonique Singh Right!! I'm like turn down the fire! lol
They're wasting the flame. Pans heat from the bottom, not from flames engulfing the sides.
Right, 😆 very much so....
That looks incredibly yummy. I love how you all tasted it together. Awesome. Going to try this one.

Thanks guys! I have been eating gluten free, dairy free, plant based so this recipe rocks. Boom!
Definitely need to buy your book if this recipe is in it. Will have to substitute mushrooms for something else as I'm only allowed a small amount occasionally.
Just made this for my seven year old. Substituted real egg for the flax (sorry hens!) and kalamata olives for the sun-dried tomato. She loves it!

The fire around that pan😲
Oops!! 😋😬
What was that black liquid that went into the tomato sauce? Sorry if you said and I missed it :)! Love your vids!
I think it was maple syrup. The tamari went in the meatballs.
Yeah I thought the tamari went in with the shrooms, maple syrup would make sense, cheers both :)!
please can you compile a book of your 5 minute recipes?
Love that knife! Is it a regular knife or something different?
I love your recipes. They make me want to eat vegan more often. Though it is not fair that you have a headstart in finishing the recipe so fast by being able to chop the vegetables that fast, haha.
Oh my... I think I have found my new cooking channel... Irish and vegan... 😍😍😍 yes please!
Being vegan is a choice, but being gluten-free is not for me (Celiac), but you have shown me so many gluten-free options! Thank you!!!
Just wondering. Do you add tamari to your cornflakes ..? Jo ;) (Loving your videos by the way)

Could you guys do a lemongrass vegan meatball recipe? I love the garlic lemongrass flavor with tofu. Maybe your team of chefs can make an easy recipe?
Sundried pesto for the tomato sauce too.
Good camera man. Who does the filming. ? Can you I borrow one of you to come cook with me. I don't mind which one I love you both. 😉😄😀

You may have answered this a long time ago, but as a newbie to your channel, why cook with the flame so high??
Is it flax seed or flax powder to make an egg?
hey Eileen!! its Ground flax seed😄😄
Love these videos so so much! Who said being vegan took too much time to cook :p
Anybody else nervous when the fire was going? Looks great.

I didn't catch the brown liquid that he added at 2:51 . He had to re-open the lid to pour in a small stream. It wasn't syrup, it was thinner. Can someone please tell me?
Jim Tolen It was probably agave, but you could use any liquid sweetener.
It was maple syrup
we can't get tap water where i'm from, could i use sparkling water as a substitute?
