Isaiah, thanks for always being sincere with us. really. the video wasn't a mess. i lost people around me to covid as well. almost lost my grandma. covid fucked literally everything up. i got dumped, i couldn't go to the gym, i couldnt see friends or family. i got covid three times, i couldnt skate, and I got overweight as FUCK as my depression grew more and more prominent. Worst of all I 100% stopped all efforts in highschool. Freshman year it was year 19/20 and obviously everything closed down so i didnt even get to finish the year out. I never knew school continued online so I failed the entire second semester. Year 20/21 which was my sophomore year, it was completely online and at that point, i didnt even try to do any work. I'd log on and go back to sleep. I don't know why i did that. I was just, not there. Never attempted to do anything because it didn't even feel like real school. Never took it seriously. I got super fucking fat that year. 21/22, my junior year, i went back to school and i finally saw all my friends again. But it was different. Everyone had changed. My self esteem was at an alltime low due to the fact that i was overweight. That same Junior year during the holidays we thought we were going to lose my grandma. She was on life support for months. That whole era was the worst time of my entire life. My parents were about to divorce, my grandma was about to pass, my closest uncles heart stopped working and is still in intensive care till this day, i was super lonely and just really had nobody to even tell my problems to. The staff at my school were all dicks and i didn't want to feel judged by anybody. This year, my senior year, they told me that I WONT be able to graduate. I haven't told my parents. I don't want to disapoint them but the damage is done. I'll most likley check myself out of highschool in April, because I'll turn 18, and transfer to an adult school. After that, I have my goals and I know I can hit them. I just don't know exactly how I'll do it. I just know I can. Only time will tell. That's my biggest personal worry at the moment. On the other hand, my other grandma got diagnosed with breast cancer , and according to my dad, shes not doing allright at all. I could roll over and almost simply give up. The thing is though my whole mindset has completeley changed. When i turned 17 this april, i decided to get rid of all my bad habits as they were destroying me. I couldn't fall under the roll of the victim anymore, instead I decided to take control over the things I COULD control. I've lost over 50 pounds in the last 7 months. I've made an effort in school again although its probably way too late, and I've mentally strengthened myself by reading, writting, working towards my aspirations and i try to stay as organized as possible. I know the feeling of feeling truly lost. Feeling alone although you have so many people around you. Biggest thing I've come to learn is that once you take control over the things that you CAN control, everything else comes to you with time. Effortlessly. I've been soul searching this entire year and ive learnt so much about myself. We'll always continue to suport you no matter what. We watch the videos for STEEZY. The creative process and work behind everyrthing youve done has always inspired me. You've impacted so many people just like myself with ALL your types of content. You're a dope person man. I never really understood why Steezy stopped making videos. They were funny and entertaining. I started to miss his uploads and eventually just thought that he got tired of youtube. Mental health is a real issue, and I'm so glad that he stopped up and took time to see how he felt. It's easy to make videos and act like everything is okay, but your mental state will only get worse. What he mentions in this video just hits home. Success and happiness is often seen as two things that follow each other, especially from people that don't have much success in life, when in reality they have nothing to do with each other. You can be successful and still be miserable, and learning the fact that achieving status won't make you happy and won't make you fill that empty hole in your life, hits hard. Steezy realized that his content was nothing special compared to the "mic'd up cult" and therefore lost his motivation. I think most people can relate to this. We can all achive high paying jobs and success, but what is it really worth, if everyone else does the same? If you want to be happy, chase your dreams. Be unique. Stand out. We all got one life, so why blend in with the rest? Don't worry about money. Don't worry about what other people will think of you. Happiness is not found in materialism but in your dreams. Don't go around and look for a purpose in life. You already know your purpose. Do what you love. Follow your dreams. Ive been watching you for almost 4 years now, seeing how much you grew not only as a youtuber but as a person inspires me so much. I started highschool in August, which is insane cus ive been watching you throughout middle school, it first started with pranks and vlogs and now...this. My whole life I always had (and still am) a difficult time with getting or keeping motivation, and because of that I always feel like im ruining myself slowly, not waking up on time for school or not feeling like getting out of my bed. I never really understood why Steezy stopped making videos. They were funny and entertaining. I started to miss his uploads and eventually just thought that he got tired of youtube.
Mental health is a real issue, and I'm so glad that he stopped up and took time to see how he felt. It's easy to make videos and act like everything is okay, but your mental state will only get worse.
What he mentions in this video just hits home. Success and happiness is often seen as two things that follow each other, especially from people that don't have much success in life, when in reality they have nothing to do with each other. You can be successful and still be miserable, and learning the fact that achieving status won't make you happy and won't make you fill that empty hole in your life, hits hard.
Steezy realized that his content was nothing special compared to the "mic'd up cult" and therefore lost his motivation. I think most people can relate to this. We can all achive high paying jobs and success, but what is it really worth, if everyone else does the same?
If you want to be happy, chase your dreams. Be unique. Stand out. We all got one life, so why blend in with the rest? Don't worry about money. Don't worry about what other people will think of you. Happiness is not found in materialism but in your dreams. Don't go around and look for a purpose in life. You already know your purpose. Do what you love. Follow your dreams.

Ive been watching you for almost 4 years now, seeing how much you grew not only as a youtuber but as a person inspires me so much. I started highschool in August, which is insane cus ive been watching you throughout middle school, it first started with pranks and vlogs and now...this. My whole life I always had (and still am) a difficult time with getting or keeping motivation, and because of that I always feel like im ruining myself slowly, not waking up on time for school or not feeling like getting out of my bed. It makes me feel like trash, im not trying to have a pity party or nothing. I can relate to you for some reason I dont know why tho.
