The thing I miss the MOST abt, "Steezy" were the niche super quality vlogs that had lessons or moral talks sometimes or brief cinematic skits. My fav video is def "Having Fun In New York" off Cheezy Steezy
A lot of his videos where he was messing around with friends without really doing "pranks" were very fun. The video was funny and entertaining and a lot of the time he'd do some kind of merch advertisement or skit thing.
Alejandro is 30 and you're balding, and y'all are arguing about a shoutout? C'mon now. Jokes aside, the harsh truth is that nobody cared enough to make it good, not even Alejandro. Things don't fail because of a single person, and if they do, they were never good enough to begin with. Looking back we got super lazy with the production, zero effort in making clips, and nobody tried to make it a real show. That being said, Steezy was like an immovable object. Literally nothing we did helped him which pissed me off too. Asking him to shoutout the podcast felt like pulling teeth, so of course it's super frustrating because it's so easy. And this thing about 'feeling lost' and shit, I get it, but also another excuse to not take action. Bit Time Pride Alejandro has a hard time accepting things sometimes, but this is shit he knows because we've talked about it, and Big Time Depression over here needs to be coddled like a baby to get him to do something. (Steezy, coddled means treat in an indulgent or overprotective way." since I know you don't read.) You're also in your 'I'm' an artist mom!' phase where you want everything you do to be taken super seriously so POP is a direct threat to that. This makes it hard for you to care to be in it and shout it out. POP needs a captain, and out of all of us I do agree Alejandro is the one that put the most effort and did try the hardest to make it happen. Both you and I were mentally checked out. So it makes sense for him to keep it and do whatever he wants, but it's just not the same without the trio. The chemistry was magic. After seeing this whole thing unfold, I realize I'm too old to hold grudges. POP will always be you, me, and Alejandro. Love you like a headache✌ Signed, Aquatic Freak 🏊♂
Alejandro is just big time locked in right now, he helped you at your lowest and never let you give up and you decided you didn’t want to help him even with something as small as a shoutout regardless if people went to the pod from it or not
His shout-out he was going to do in the 2nd Toronto video sounded like it could have been good. But yeah, Steezy did nothing for so long it was too late
I understand both perspectives, Alejandro is being very vague and childish by not being able to be as “real” and transparent as he says he is, but at the same time i understand him not wanting to do the podcast with steezy, the last few podcasts steezy was on were probably the most boring because he didn’t put any effort into the podcast and alejandro had to basically do everything, and also the fact that steezy went back on his word about the shoutout.
I think what’s missing here from both parties is the honesty, why doesn’t steezy put more effort into the podcast, does he not believe in it’s success? Is he ashamed of the podcast? Why is alejandro hyperfixated on the shoutout? Is it because he thinks the only way the podcast will blow up is through steezy?
@@4annc Many good points ngl. You're most definitely right that the main issue was lack of honesty/transparency between them, and that's what's making Alejandro react like this.
Its not the shoutout but the friendship like its more about the friendship than the podcast, and thats fucked up from someone you consider to be a friend to not being able to
Y’all have had an immaculate chemistry with the podcast from the start. I understand both sides, but I hope it works out and comes together with the podcast again. You’re both killing it fr
Steezy don’t even play it off like it’s not your fault, he’s done so much for u and u couldn’t even do a simple promotion. I’m disappointed in u bro. U wronged ur friend, u have to make up to him somehow.
Probably one of the most realest videos that Steezy ever drop. I like these types of video from the new Steezy it’s not wacky shi or anything. It’s just him wanting to put what he wants and I’m all for it.
I think having respect for friends is so important. Even though Steezy cares for his friend, I don't think he respects him as a content creator. i think that's why he has been reluctant to promote the podcast, because stezzy isn't proud of his friend as a content creator, and thus feels as though being associated and promoting the podcast in some way will hurt his own image as content creator.
That’s the best way you could’ve put it. Steezy doesn’t feel like it’s in his best interest to associate himself with Alejandros podcast because he senses that it’ll hurt his brand in the future. Steezy still has the goal of making it big in Hollywood and for some reason him promoting the podcast will scare off potential clients. That’s such a stupid way to view it.
Thank you for sharing your side. Both of you are right. At the end of the day, you didn’t believe in POP as much as he did. I hope you two can become friends again and I’ll miss you on the podcast. The dynamic you guys had was genuinely really funny.
I’m in a similar situation, so I’ve recently just turned my life to Christ and obviously when I made that decision I have to let go of some things that I used to do, and it starts with my humor. He still makes sexual and rasist and just straight up hurtful jokes that are sometimes even mean (not to me but just about anyone). I’m changing as a human because I’ve turned my life to Jesus and he’s still the same. I’m in a tough situation bc I don’t want to completely ghost him but I also don’t wanna be as close as we were because I’ll just go right back to the way I was witch goes against what I believe. But I will say this Isaiah. Keep going you’ll be okay. I’m praying for you Isaiah, much love. - I usually don’t make comments like this so if you read this thank you.
Its alr man you don't have to abruptly break the friendship, but you can slowly just faze out yk? Like just communicate less with him and pursue other things
I feel like Steezy brings a more zen vibe to the podcast, sometimes extreme Alejandro, and Fil was a neutral balance. The Dynamic has honestly worked great. Even with Steezy not feeling some of the humor is his brand, we can see that and it was part of the funny Dynamic. Y'all balanced each other out and I couldn't ask for a better podcast to stick with over the years and still now. Wish the best to all of you.
Exactly and how steezy says later in the video about alejandros jokes thats alejandro thats his personality and then you got fils personality and steezys everyone is different and thats what made it special
Tbh the bottom line is this: Steezy chose his image more than he chose his friends; nothing personal, he just has a brand he wants to keep up with and Alejandro saying some outta pocket stuff it seems like Steezy doesn’t want to put his name on that (hence why he posted on his second and not his main that was apparently originally the plan) Honestly tho, Steezy really complimented the podcast because one, he was primarily the face of the podcast, and two, he was able to ground the energy when it would go to crazy. yea this was very uncomfortable. People say alejandro is being childish and yet steezy couldn't talk to his friend without a camera on his face. Alejandro said multiple times to cut and steezy shut it down. They should have just talked privately because this clearly didn't work.
Steezy as a long time fan seriously i think this is the best decision, i remember watching your videos in school when you were climbing under ur school and learning to backflip and something that changes from there to now is when your on the podcast it feels like a job, and i think the best use of your time is experiencing life and also experiencing yourself through film
Honestly I see why Alejandro is so hurt but i also kinda get Steezy's side as well. It sucks to see this happen, but part of me had a feeling that the POP trio returning was too good to be true 😮💨
Cmon, confronting him on camera in his own home is CRAZY fr. Honestly, Steezy in the wrong. Cuz I bet Alejandro was more frustrated on how careless Steezy was within those 6 months in promoting the podcast and the Kendrick vs. Drake video was his final straw. This video is kinda dirty bc I can tell Steezy wanted to destroy Alejandro's image by mentioning his inappropriate/sexual humor. Also, refusing to turn off the camera in the hopes of getting Alejandro to say/do something that can be put outta context is not right. It's giving bad friend behavior. They need to have a feeling circle and talk it out. Still a fan but do better :(
6:11 " isaiah is gone." That shit is kinda creepy 8:44 "he spend 6 month not doing anything" Oh shit and we go back to the old camera at the end I dont thing that the vsh tho
Honestly i think that promoting the podcast in the singing in public would have been the best decision. 3 mio views would’ve gotten way more new people to the podcast than any other video with like 200k views. Also i don’t think that the viewer has to necessarily already be a steezy viewer to be interested in the podcast. I guess I’m on Alejandro’s side here
how would he promote the podcast though through the video. personally i would have ignored it not that it's bad only that it doesn't match the video and is kind of irrelevant so steezy's method would have been better
This makes me so sad, seeing alejandro so upset hurts me. I hope alejandro can make the podcast big and seems impossible right now but i wish he also understands steezy side. Steezy or even phil without in the podcast is just different man it doesn’t complete the pullout podcast at all
I knew this waz coming. I always knew Alejandro was just a little bit 2 wild for Steezy and not as in tune with the logistics of things. Steezy is more business lmao. It’s a Dame Dash/ Jay Z thing basically. The ROC is over
What if instead of trying to show why you arent guilty, you just admit to your mistakes? Moving on would be easier after that... He says that 'songs in public' doesnt fit to promote it but the last 6 month since Alejandro was asking for it, he didnt even post any type of videos like that...

Alejandro dropping the ball and letting you slip through the podcast is probably the worst mistake of his life. Hope he doesn't regret this in the future, yall were like family on the pod
Thats interesting because I actually find it a lot more engaging without steezy. Don't get me wrong I love steezy and his time on the pod but tbh Ale and Fil lowkey carried the show imo
The podcast is only good when it’s the dynamic of you Fill and Alejandro I agree that just with Alejandro it’s not really a podcast it’s just a guy in front of camera talking idk why he feels that way I hope you guys squash this beef I hate to see you guys not be friends anymore.
Steezy basically agreed to everything Alejandro said but defended it with saying that he doesn’t want to hurt his brand. That’s probably why he posted this on the second account that isn’t even linked to the main.
Nah I think it’s better without steezy he be all depressed and it just kills the mood, he left the podcast and Alejandro kept going with it which shows he cares abt the fans who were watching that’s why I’m with Alejandro. MR BIG TIME LOCK IN
nah back when they filmed it in LA it was entertaining asf. but now when they all move back to austin, everything is off, but that's okay, steezy been through a lot and so does everyone, so if he thinks he can't do it anymore it's fine. ppl have different things to lock in, if ale wanna lock in in podcast and steezy wanna lock in in his youtube ( even if that's sacrifice his spot at podcast ) it's fine.
yeah but Alejandro brings 0 value, so why promote him and his podcast? If you watch Alejandro long enough, you see 0 growth and consistency in that guy and his lack of growth brand wise. Dude changes like the weather and his latest thing is the locked in BS. Steezy is leagues above him, but he's clearly trying to navigate the waters. Steezy truly needs a good friend that is behind the scenes to let him know his true worth and that he is more than just an influencer, creator, artist, etc. Alejandro gets butthurt reading these kind of comments but dude needs to grow up and stop replying with his annoying macho, vulgar persona and become a real business man.
@TheMatrixMaverickX tbh I lean more so to understanding Ales' frustration. Sure steezy is the main draw of the pod but he's just as indecisive as the other 2. But in this case it was more so about steezy helping out a friend and keeping his promise. Which he failed and I understand why Ale felt some type of way about it. The failed shout was really just the final straw for Ale imo

They were supposed to film a podcast no???
I stopped watching the podcast when steely left. He’s the only reason I watched
Thats interesting because I actually find it a lot more engaging without steezy. Don't get me wrong I love steezy and his time on the pod but tbh Ale and Fil lowkey carried the show imo
Keep it going
Wait you can rent warehouses and live in them😭😭where are these in upstate America?
The podcast is only good when it’s the dynamic of you Fill and Alejandro I agree that just with Alejandro it’s not really a podcast it’s just a guy in front of camera talking idk why he feels that way I hope you guys squash this beef I hate to see you guys not be friends anymore.
@balencibabyythere’s still good content in it but I see what u saying. I think he just trying to build the core fan base first then go from there
@balencibabyy when he says friends shout out each other I shake my head bc bro we get it move on pls 😂
youre very precise. but its ok, youll learn to grow n expand.
Steezy basically agreed to everything Alejandro said but defended it with saying that he doesn’t want to hurt his brand. That’s probably why he posted this on the second account that isn’t even linked to the main.
Keep going
I think he just wants to do it on his own.
Damn Steezy pulled up to shoot, YOU WERE READY
WE LOVE STEEZY
Nah with all of them, its lit
we love steezy fr
yeah u didnt watched the video we get it
Steezy you are the best.
Did yall fixed the situation?
Damn the thing is Alejandro was kinda right that video got 3M views it would at least have gotten some decent exposure for sure
yeah but Alejandro brings 0 value, so why promote him and his podcast?
The failed shout was really just the final straw for Ale imo
steezy turning zesty
LOVE U MAN
