  • This video covers what you need to know when trying to fit 37x13.50, or larger, tires on a 6.7 Powerstroke. It also covers how well 40x15.50 Mud Grapplers fit on skinny stock wheels, with wheel spacers, and gives more information on stretching a lift kit or stacking leveling kits. This video also gives background information for my Grappaholics instagram page and how I was successful in growing it.

    Thanks for posting the vid... liking the 40s on the stock 20x8.5... that's the route I am going. Going to do a 40x13.5... we'll see how much they rub. 6" blocks rear... 3.5" spacer front on long limited springs. Wheels wells are at 48" right now with the stock 34.5s.

    You can get away with a lot on these 08 + square faced Super Duties, the front wheel wells and are a lot larger than the 99-07 trucks. Smaller bumper profile also. Great video, Great looking trucks.

    Personally I don’t think I could choose between the two, both have there advantages! My 2010 f250 is set up like tjs with the same tire size and all but wanting to go kinda between on mine with maybe 6.5” up front 4” in the back with 38x15.50s grapps with my stocks! Love this videos man!

    For the 2017s and up, now you can get the Carli radius arms and it will fix the radius arm rub. They are expensive but they are notched in a way that allows a bit more room for bigger tires. Also, they make the new torsion sway bar which gives you more room for the front. Carli isn't stupid. Those two items add up to over $2000, but you won't rub!

    • @GRAPPAHOLICS
      @GRAPPAHOLICS  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's awesome! I'll have to look into those. We installed some Carli goodies on my friends 6.0 powerstroke a while back if you checkout some of my older videos

    • @suburbanhobbyist2752
      @suburbanhobbyist2752 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GRAPPAHOLICS I'll check them out. After my comment I was talking to a major Carli installer and he said that the torsion bar will definitely get rid of rub on a truck with the 2.5" lift/37" tires/stock wheels, however, there will probably still be rub on the radius arm even with the new Carli ones. I believe it makes it way less noticeable though.
      I just picked up a 2021 F350 CCSB and I plan on either going cheap with the Readylift 2.5" spacer level with their track relocation bracket and track bar and 1" bigger blocks in the back or just go for the Carli Back Country 2.5" coil lift. Either way I want to keep my stock wheels so I'm paying for the Carli torsion sway bar and radius arms.

    So I have a 2014 f350 6.7 diesel. I currently have 3" leveling kit and 37x13.50x18s. It rubs on the arms and the stability arm. I just bought 37x13.50x18 mud grapplers. They appear to be a little bit wider and a little bit taller than the current 37s. I wan to run 2" spacers but I wanted to make sure they will clear the bottom of the fender on cab side. It looks like it's gonna be close but I want to make sure before I waist the money's on spacers. Still factory rims.

    • @GRAPPAHOLICS
      @GRAPPAHOLICS  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have always preferred not to run spacers and just not turning full lock vs risking the tires hitting the fenders or bumper.

    I have a 2017 250, it might be a dumb question but does 3.5” leveling kit also come with 1” kit for the rear. Getting close to pulling the trigger on 37s w/ a 3.5” leveling kit. Love the look.

    • @GRAPPAHOLICS
      @GRAPPAHOLICS  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Guillermo Perez Depends on the brand, the kit should have a list of what all it comes with. In my opinion a leveling kit is only for the front, but 3.5 is big enough you would want another inch in the rear to keep it from squatting so it’s hard to say.

If not, I could use an aftermarket wheel. What is the best offset to pull this off? Do I need to stretch the 3.5” kit by adding another inch? What do I buy? Thanks and great video as always.

      Thank you for checking out some of my videos! I just replied to your other comment but to add to that I would recommend keeping the stock wheels with no spacers because that helps you clear the body of the truck the best when you have a small lift. • @GRAPPAHOLICS

      It should sit similar to this truck I believe because I think he left the rear stock. 4in in the front will be somewhat noticeably higher than the stock rear though. I think it takes about 2in to level it so if you leave the rear stock it will have a 2in squat.

      I honestly don’t have a solid recommendation for that. I didn’t pay attention to what the shop aired them up to and never had any issues. You should be able to if you don’t run huge wheels. With stock wheels they might rub on the frame some, but as your wheels stick out more with spacers or negative offset, they start to rub on the wheel well and bumper. That body style doesn’t have quite as much room so just have to get the offset right and maybe trim a little

      Brandon Abdella Well I’d say there is an appearance benefit because it looks amazing, and your wheel is very protected if you were to hit a curb at the mall or a rock on the trail. Not a tough as bead locks would be though obviously

    what is the actual ground clearance with the truck on 37's?

    • @GRAPPAHOLICS
      @GRAPPAHOLICS  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t measured one to check but as far as the axles ground clearance compared to factory tires, factory being about a 34in tire, it should have an additional 1.5in of ground clearance.(1/2 of the amount of tire increase which is 3in larger than stock). Any lift or leveling kit will add additional bumper/body clearance but the axles only get more clearance with larger tires. Sorry if that wasn’t anything you didn’t already know. That’s all the info I can think of.

      @@GRAPPAHOLICS thank you for getting back to me I realize that this is an older post. It's nice to have big tires and have your body way up off the ground but really if you can't clear a 12-in obstacle it doesn't make much sense to have your truck 48 inches off the ground.
