I think you can do it either way---on this recording, I played F natural----which isn't whats written because the F note in the arrangement is flat and f there's no natural. But F flat sounds cool there---(Its the difference between and G flat dom 7 and a G flat major 7)

This arrangement can be found in the folio "Rediscovered Ellington" along with other great arrangements. "Black and Tan Fantasy" is a fun one too.

hi! im learning this piece. at 0:32 , are the F notes still F flat? (and then basically just E)
