The exciting, engaging, and captivating Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers have been a mainstay of the New York City Traditional Jazz community since arriving on the scene in 2012. In just a short time they have built a reputation as being one of the city's finest traditional and swing bands, holding residencies at The Standard Hotel, Chez Jef, and the Flatiron room among others.
I love to listen to all of your recordings, beautiful voice delivered with a big range, stylistic nuance and a graceful musicality. This is a stellar interpretation. The silky texture of the bass sax set you up just right for this sultry ballad. Thanks for the music.
Such an awesome version
Megg is sui generis. Outstanding!
That bass sax, (or whatever that is) is a beast. Any horn player realizes the air required to make anything respectable comes out of a horn than big.
a saxophone is not a horn... it's a woodwind instrument

It's not a brass instrument, but if you blow air through it, it's a horn.
It's a bass sax. I play trombone and that takes a lot of air but that bass sax takes more. More like a tuba.
My comment is on my wifes account. My name is Bill Howes
My wife does not play trombone lol
Great job on a wonderful tune.

A écouter un jour de pluie bien à l’abri près du feu !
Classy.
Great version!
I love this song, but you raised it a notch up on my list. The base sax & Meg switching her style (I loved all her styles).
Really smooth
Dr. Julian Bashir, Tinker, Doctor, Spy... Now also a Bass player apparently.
